I soaked the lentils over night in a canning jar. Then for the next 3-4 days I rinsed the lentils through a mesh twice a day, letting them drain while the jar was inverted but angled in a bowl. Within just a short time I have delicious sprouts. There's a lot more to them than the alfalfa sprouts, which I also enjoy. I eat the lentil sprouts straight from the jar or use them in salads or sandwiches. I take them to work for a healthy snack.

This is definitely one of my favorite sprout mixes! I use the large mason jars with sprouting lids, and end up with very few un-sprouted seeds when I harvest this mix.The taste is flavorful, yet mild, and there is a perfect amount of crunch to the sprouts. They're good in salads, wraps, or just right out of the jar! These sprouts are so tasty that most of the time they are my main 'base' for my salad. I have a lazy streak when it comes to washing and chopping lettuce, so I'll just throw a big pile of these in a bowl, add some chopped avocado & cucumbers, then top with a bit of olive oil, lemon juice, and sea salt, and it is a yummy meal full of vitamins, minerals, protein, and phytonutrients. I am definitely a repeat buyer of these!

These lentils are delicious! I had never tried lentil sprouts before and was surprised at how great they taste and how sturdy they are. They sprout as quickly as alfalfa and are crunchy too. I put one finished batch in the refrigerator and forgot they were in there. Almost two weeks later, there they were green and crunchy still! Seems that sprouts live on in the fridge! I will make lentils a regular part of my sprouting.

These seeds sprout quickly and grow well. They are great as a garnish for tossed salad.

Low germination, stunted growth - low quality compared to other brands and doesn’t allow for return or exchange so I cannot test if it just happens to be this particular bag or if it’s the company as a whole.

MMMMMmmmmmm GOOD! I never thought of sprouting lentils, but, boy oh boy am I glad I tried. They are deeeeelicious! Full of flavor, easy as alfalfa to grow and they lasted a long time in the sprout box when I was yet not ready to use them. Highly recommend them to all who love sprouting.
