Gets Rid of the Click!
I installed this two pack of actuators in the passenger side of a 2010 Chevrolet Impala with the infamous clicking issue. The installation was "easy" by automotive standards, if you know what I mean. Any difficulty in installing these motors was not the fault of the parts, but rather the cramped space you are given to work in. It took me about 1.5hrs to install the two actuators from start to finish. That included a few trips back into the house for tools, restroom break, and the hunt for a dropped socket. Installing these myself saved me a couple hundred dollars! They function just like the OEM parts. Only time will tell how long they will hold up, but it is important to know that EVERY replacement for these actuators will eventually fail. No one, not even the OEM, makes these actuators with gears that won't strip and break. So, the question is simply how long it takes for them to break and not whether they will or not. I should have replaced these years ago. I have been living with the issue for a long time due to the cost of having them replaced at a mechanic's shop. I think these are a fantastic value and recommend them to anyone tired of the click! click! click!

Thes might be the best actuator replacments yet
If you own a 9th gen Impala, you'll be very familiar with these. They will break. No matter what, they will do eventually and you will have to replace them. not a matter of if, but a matter of when. With that said, then comes the never-ending ordeal of having to replace these once or twice a year, as the gearing behind the vents gets older and stiffer, breaking the gears on the actuators. I've gone through at least six or eight of these throughout the five years I've had my 2013 Impala, and had mixed results with different brands. OEM as I know now is the worst choice. AC Delco actuators are not only four times the cost of these, but they will break within a month or two. Doorman is the second choice, supposedly being as good as OEM, but I've used them and they sometimes start ticking as soon as I install them. For a year I almost gave up and just unplugged my actuators, plugging them when it was close to winter to set it hot, and cold when summer was nearing. Until I decided to give it one more try before I trade in my Impala. So I bought these cheap no-brand ones and replaced them. I have to say... I am impressed. I don't what's in these, but the first thing that I noted is how quiet they are. You can't hear the buzzing of the motor working. They also don't sound like they struggle at all opening and closing the vents, as if the motors were a bit more powerful. And there is no hint of clicking or ticking so far. At the end of the day, this will be a part you will be replacing frequently in your 9th Impala. So don't bother buying OEM or known brands. Just buy these generic one that surprisingly work better. Also, NEVER take it to the dealership. It is a nearly four figure repair and they will require you to leave it overnight. Look for tutorials online on how to replace these. Chances are it will be the one behind the glovebox compartment, which is really easy to replace (10-15 minute job). It's located at the left side of the glovebox, and it can be easily accessed by collapsing the glovebox door all the way down. This is the passenger blend door actuator. There is a second one behind the glove box, which controls the air direction, which in most cases will never break, so don't worry about that one. But in the rare case it is, it is super easy to reach as well. It is located at the right side, very close to the blower. Now, the third one, and the one that can be a nightmare, is the one for the driver side's blend door. For this, a tutorial is highly recommended. You will be going in blind and will have to stay in a very uncomfortable position for at least 30 minutes. This one is accessed from under the steering wheel, through the floorboard. There is some disassembly required, mostly the plastic and metal panels under the steering wheel. You will be going into a very tight spot, and the actuator is behind some wire harnesses that need to be unplugged. It is impossible to see, so everything needs to be done by touch with only one hand, as nothing else will fit. Good luck with this one. It is a tough job mostly due to how uncomfortable it is, but doable in much less than what the dealership quotes. Follow a tutorial carefully and preferably have someone help you with a light.

Have not replaced them yet, but appear to be the correct part.

Good for the price.
Saved $ vs the auto parts store. These are the same as from the parts store. They have nylon gears which go bad occasionally. There are 3 of these in my Chevy, at least one will go bad every 2 or 3 years making a clicking sound, have to fiddle with the controls to get the heater to work. (See Youtube for install vids.) Not the fault of the part that it's kinda hard to get to, up under the dash on most cars is a pain to reach. Only 2 screws hold it in though, so get these if you want to save some $$$ on labor!

Quality Made
These parts are an exact fit. The parts are slightly heavier then the OEM, which makes them feel more durable and manufactured better than the original parts.

Happy Customer,(so far)
Arrived the next day with prime. I was home so I replaced the passenger side temp and the blend door. These were of course the easiest to get to behind the glove box. Easy install took about one hour. The new actuators seemed to be heavier duty and much quieter than the old ones. Time will tell on how dependable but I feel really good about it and hopeful that I have found a good seller for the future.

I installed both actuators and they worked perfectly, product is great but a real challenge to install

I was able to install the actuator fairly easily. It required a bit of contortions to access the bolt at the back of the actuator. The part works properly. A local GM dealership quoted $90 (Canadian price) for one actuator and I got two for $64 by making my purchase through Amazon.

Buzzing got louder everytime AC was used, apparently actuator is a very common problem. Thankfully I came across this which was fairly priced and had a space just in case. Easy install, OEM fit, 3years later no issues. A+
