The media could not be loaded.  The product is super light, but it attach to my car super stable with my phone on it. The manual is diligent with many pictures on it. I can easily follow the direction. After several days of using it, I can tell you it`s a good product!

I have a Galaxy S9+ so it's a big phone to start with plus an otterbox case on top of that and this holder will still hold my phone in vertical and horizontal modes. However, it's a little touchy but I'm attributing that to the case, over all I love the rotation, the fact that you can use both methods, and how easy it is to use. Going to make long car rides so much easier!

I really liked this item at first. It installed very easily. It was extremely secure. It held my phone in whichever way I wanted at the time, and held it securely. I was, however, able to use this item for less than 2 months, (purchased on June 28, fatally broken on 08/23, conveniently outside of the Return Window) before it broke permanently. It broke not from misuse of any kind but because it was unable to handle the location in which it was designed to be installed. The pin and spring at the back of the holder came loose when exposed to the heat of the day. And this occurred despite the fact that I used a window shade every single day. Something about the heat caused the pin to expand and move until the hinge became partially loose and unstable. I was able to tap the pin back into place using the back of my folding pocket knife, but it continued to become unstable until one day it became loose enough that the spring jumped its brackets and,the cell phone holder could no longer hold a cell phone. I spent a couple hours attempting to re install the spring and pin, but the area is too small and requires specialty tools. This item was not abused, was not broken due to misuse. It broke because it was on the dash of my truck. Exactly where it was designed to be.Perhaps, if you live in a more temperate region, this problem will never occur for you. Perhaps a drop of super glue at either end of the pin would be enough to hold the pin in place.I really liked the item when it was working. I liked that it collapsed to practically flat when not in use, that it held my phone securely, and that it could be rotated for better views. If I knew then what I know now, I would have tried a drop of super glue at either end of the pin. But, honestly, should I need to fix an item before I even install it?Very disappointing. Back to hunting for a cell phone holder that will work for more than a couple months, I guess.

This product works as advertised. In order to work best it needs a flat surface. A lot of vehicles do not have that much flat space on the dashboard. I managed to work around this problem with a sticky/tacky pad and a small wooden box from Hobby Lobby. This holder will hold a Samsung Note 8 in either portrait or landscape positions. More than likely your phone will have to be mounted in the landscape position due to space and line of sight issues. The holder has the option of a sticky/tacky or double side tape mount. I opted for the tacky mount due to possible residue issues with double sided tape. I don't think there will be much of a residue problem with the tacky mount. The rotating base mount is a nice option for optimal viewing. BTW I am using this mount in a Chevy Colorado and the dashboard has no flat surfaces with a strange double coin/junk tray in the middle. However with some modifications to the dash I have been able to make the mount work.

Unfortunately. The cell phone holder does not stick to my dashboard at all, even when using the stronger 3M middle adhesive. I will be processing a return and a refund for this item. Also, if I was able to get it to work for me, the rubber “feet” that are supposed to hold the phone horizontally do not well at all either. I love the design, but I cannot use it.

This would have been the all time best phone holder. Wanted it for vertical option BUT unfortunately when my iPhone 6 stands vertical I can’t charge. Such a bummer. Horizontal it’s great ...other than not being able to charge standing vertical, this holder is fine.

So first let me say how much I have absolutely loved using this mount! It has been a real lifesaver over the course of the past five months. It's wicked easy to put in and/or take out my phone. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max with a clear case and a Popsocket on the back, and my phone still fits just fine in the mount. I will say that it is a VERY tight fit if I'm putting the phone in vertically, but horizontally is no problem. I mostly use the mount horizontally anyway, so I barely noticed that small issue. I'm not sure if my phone case just makes it too wide to use it vertically, or if this really wasn't made for that size phone, but regardless... it's still a wonderful product. One thing to note: I can't use it anymore. As of about 5 days ago, one of the little "feet" than hangs down on the left and right side of the top piece so you can change the viewing angle of your phone has fallen off. At first, I thought I'd just stick it back in and hope for the best. And that worked for one commute, then it fell back out as soon as I took my phone out. Then, I figured I might as well try to super glue it back in there myself because it's only been five months and I really didn't want to give up using this! But that didn't work either. I'm not sure if I just suck at super gluing things, or if the material didn't allow it to adhere correctly, but it just didn't work. So I have to either order a replacement or just try a whole different brand which I'm not too thrilled about. I've tried probably dozens of other mounts and until I came across this one, I hadn't been happy with any of them. So it's super disappointing that this one only lasted five months. Major sad face over here! Anyway... I only took off 1 star for that issue with the "feet" because, in the vendor's defense, I commute to and from work for 1.5 hours each way and 5 days a week, so I did get A LOT of use out of it until it broke. Overall, I would still recommend this mount wholeheartedly... but maybe just be a little careful about how rough you are with those little "feet".
