Good, large, clear squeezy pouches
I looked for a long time at the 200 million options for reusable squeezy pouches. I've pretty much come to the conclusion that they're all hard to clean (some more than others), and if you can find one that doesn't leak it's a winner. These are the only brand I've ever used, so I don't have anything to compare them to. But I'll tell you some positives and negatives about them. The best thing about this bundle is the collapsible silicone funnel. It makes filling these soooo much easier than trying to dip a spoon into a pouch again and again without making a mess. The funnel alone makes this bundle awesome. Or you could just buy a funnel! The huge size of these is also a plus. I still use these for my 3 and 5 year olds. They can't even finish one when it's completely filled to the top. These also have very clearly marked ounce markers on the back. Makes it easy to fill to your child's needs. Be careful though...you can't actually fill it to the top marker or you won't be able to close it without leaking! These are dishwasher safe, which is great. It was really the reason I bought this brand. The pouches hold up in the dishwasher, however the zippers don't seem to close properly after they've been through a dishwasher cycle. You can still get them to seal (so no leaking), but they are very very VERY hard to close. I washed about half of them in the dishwasher and half of them by hand. 100% of the ones that went through the dishwasher had funky zippers afterwards. 100% of the hand washed ones were fine. So, while these say they're dishwasher safe, they do change the ease with which they close.I really like that these zip closed on the top. I'm not sure why, but I always picture the ones with the zipper on the bottom leaking out when squeezed (gravity at work maybe?). That definitely won't happen with these! These will also stand on their own while being filled. That might not seem like a big deal, but you can stand this up, use one hand to hold the funnel in the top and one hand to scoop the food. Without this feature I might need a third hand! The side spout hasn't been a problem for us. It does make these a bit larger for packing, but that hasn't been an issue. I also like that you can use lids from store bought squeezies on these. So far every one I've tried has fit...you can never have too many lids! These are a huge money saver in the long run. If you puree your own baby food already, these would be amazing for self feeders. If you don't, you can buy huge tubs of apple sauce to fill these. They will pay for themselves after one jar of apple sauce! These also have a blank label on the back...would be great for school or day care. The fact that these are clear is also great. It makes them easier to clean, and it's easy to see what squeezable goodness is inside! These aren't perfect, but they're pretty good. From what I've read they're about as good as it gets. Go ahead and give it a try...great value for everything you get!

Out of the various pouches I've used this is by far the best set I've purchased!
This is my 3rd set of refillable pouches. I initially got small pouches for my son when he was about 9 months old, gave them away to a friend. Then tried Tubbki pouches, which I hated. Then I got these pouches, which I’m in love with! Here’s why I highly recommend you go with these:• Size: These are probably best for ages 10 months and up. The size is impressive. I was tired of having to give my son 2-3 pouches at a time due to his wonderful appetite. These actually hold more than advertised. I filled one up with water all the way to the top and then poured it out. I got 8 ounces of water in it! Then I weighed one with my kitchen scale and accounting for the weight of the pouch my scale said 8 ¼ ounces. I LOVE that I only have to take one of these with me when I go somewhere for my 18 month old son! Granted, when you fill them it’s usually not to the top, it’s hard to gauge how much you can put in without having it spill out the top when closing it. I love that it has measurement markings on the back as well.• Zipper: This is the perfect zipper! First, it’s on the top. That makes it easier to fill and close. Second, if for some reason you don’t get it zipped all the way, when it gets squeezed some will come out of the top, but it will slowly pour down the side versus the zipper bottom design, due to gravity a bunch will pour in your kids lap. I can tell you from experience that’s not fun! Lastly, it’s a double zipper. Pouch zippers are a little more challenging than like Ziploc bags. This double zipper pretty well insures that you’re going to get at least one of the two zipped up when you press on them, if not both. I haven’t had a single problem with zipping these up.• Material: I highly recommend see through pouches. Pouches aren’t the most fun thing to clean. If you can’t see through them it’s easy to miss spots in the corners. My first set wasn’t see through, I was always afraid I was going to miss a spot and my son was going to get moldy food. These are transparent, so you can see if you get everything. I put smoothies in these, so seeds get stuck on the sides, I love that I can see if I missed any.• Spout: At first I thought the spout was odd looking on the side. Now I understand why. When pouches are this big it’s impossible for them to have enough suction to get the food out from the bottom. All the food from around the spout will come out, but then the bag kind of seals itself when they suck. I’m posting a picture so you can hopefully understand what I’m talking about. Having the spout closer to the middle rather than at the top helps give more area to suck out. You will still have to push some up from the bottom as the pouch empties.• Cleaning: I will tell you, cleaning pouches isn’t a ton of fun. I mentioned how much easier it is that they are clear. This also has a great design for cleaning. The bottom is rounded, whereas my Tubbki pouches were like an hourglass design, so it was INCREDIBLY hard to get in the bottom corners. These pouches fit my bottle brush perfectly. If there’s a seed or something stuck in the bottom corner I use my water bottle straw brush. These can go in the dishwasher, which I’ve done. I’ve noticed that the zippers are a little harder to use after putting them in the dishwasher. I prefer handwashing them. I also highly recommend rinsing them out immediately after the pouch is consumed. This prevents any food from hardening on them. I usually put water in, put the cap back on, zip it up and shake it, then empty the water. This makes it easy to do a quick clean when I get home.• Extras: I’m so thrilled with the funnel! My kitchen funnel had too small of a hole to get applesauce in the pouch. I always spooned the applesauce in, which is super annoying. This funnel actually works! I love that it’s collapsible. When I was researching pouches I was actually going to buy a separate funnel, this was a little added incentive to buy this set over others. I also LOVE that I got 2 extra lids. They tend to get lost when we are out and about.• Number of pouches: I bought the Tubbki pouches that at this moment are slightly more expensive, only came with 3 pouches, were a horrible design AND didn’t come with any extra stuff. I can’t emphasize how good of a deal these pouches are!I seriously looked at probably 20 sets of pouches on Amazon. I tend to overly research my purchases. I don’t think I could’ve found anything better. I love keeping a stash of applesauce in these ready to grab out of the fridge quickly for errands and outings. I line them up, fill them with the funnel and stash them away. I’ve also frozen smoothies in them. When I make myself a smoothie I make an extra for my son and fill 3 of these up and leave them in the freezer. I HIGHLY recommend this set! Thanks for reading my review, I didn’t mean for it to be a small book, but I wanted to point out all the great features of these.

Be aware: it is not 6 different animals, only a WHALE on all 6 pouches!
Our daughter is 10 months now and couple months ago became a very picky eater. At some point we have noticed that she is very interested in the food pouches (like Gerber), due to colors on it and would eat them. So I decided to buy reusable pouches, and keep her interested in food that way. I looked through few options here on Amazon and got two different ones: Nom Nom Kids Reusable Food Pouch (Pack of 3) and these Squirt Friends Reusable Baby Food Pouches. What I liked about Squirt Friends when looking at it before buying is the fact that it will have 6 different animals to keep my baby entertained - one on each pouch. And while description does not specifically mentions that - I think it implies it, by placing 6 different animals on the side on the box, and calling it Squirt Friends (not squirt whale). Having 6 whales is boring, because in this particular case variety of designs was really important to me.Also now that I have these pouches and Non Nom pouches - and I have used them both - I think I like the Nom Nom type better, because it has zipper on a side and opening for eating on top, rather than zipper on top like Squirt Friends. It resembles Gerber pouches more that way, and cleans in the dishwasher better that Squirt Friends.I did like that Squirt Friends came with extra caps and handy funnel. So - as long as you are aware of whale-only design, and still like it - it is all right product overall.
