IBP RST2050 Sonic Electric Toothbrush 30,000 Strokes Timer Battery Operated

Had used Oral B electric toothbrush before, initially I had to charge it about once every 10 days or so but after the first year had to recharge the toothbrush every couple of days and after 2 years had to recharge it daily. So I went for this toothbrush in which I can use a rechargeable AA battery. I have been using this for over 1 year now and I recharge the AA batteries probably once every 3 to 4 weeks, which is a bliss compared to the pain I had with recharging the oral B electric one daily. If the battery performance deteriorates over the next year or so, I simply have to change the rechargeable batteries (even the ones we get for a £ in poundland needs charging only around every 3 weeks!).I get all the essential features that I got in my previous Oral B toothbrush like including 30000 strokes per minute, 2 minute timer, 3 brushing modes. Only feature that this one lacked compared to the previous oral B one is the light indicator when we press a bit hard on the teeth. It would have been a good feature to have but I can live without it. I didn't find any issues with the shape of this brush head compared to the round brush heads from Oral B. Overall I have been really happy with this toothbrush and would happily recommend this.

For such a reasonably priced electric toothbrush, this is quite powerful. Just press the button for any of the 3 settings, brush and hey presto, squeaky clean teeth achieved.As I travel quite often, a battery operated brush is just the solution: no worries about lugging around cables and adapters for different sockets.I use the brush whenever I forget to recharge my regular brush too! ,,

Perfect replacement for the Philips AA battery powered model which lasted me 6 years (unfortunately no longer available).Really strong sonic action on high. Gentler action on low. Pulse gives 1second bursts of each.Tried a couple of cheap Chinese ones but were like toys.

I purchased this 3 months ago to replace the same make, but a chargeable one. Initially impressed, but when I replaced batteries, the fitting is not good. Have strapped batteries in with tape for a few days, but this is obviously not going to work. Really wished I had purchased another rechargeable one now.
