Works well but it doesn’t have the vibration feature which I’m use to having. Otherwise it works fine. I must have missed that in the description.

Had to return the 1st one after a couple months of use. After a little back and forth with the Company on eliminating "operator error" -t they sent a replacement. They work pretty good most of the time (wife has one also). Will be working fine then all of the sudden...won't read. Next day they work fine! Can't see any rhyme or reason as to why it stops reading. Bottom line is that it is not a Bushnell Scope. It's a entry level scope at a reasonable price and it works as advertised...most of the time!

This was a good replacement for my old range finder which broke and the price was right!

First time using any rangefinder. Was easy to useright out of the box. Distance display was accurate and liked being able to slide it my back pocket due to compact size. Appreciate the price point and the warranty extension as well! It’s my new trusty game improvement golf companion.

Best range finder for the money and even better customer service (IF you need it)

This is my second TecTecTec Rangefinder. My first, a Vpro500, lasted five years. First, if you're a little shaky, like I am, a rangefinder with stabilization might be a better choice. The ULT-X finds the target and displays a range distance almost immediately, but waiting on the lock-on vibration can take a few seconds and a shaky viewfinder becomes obvious. The vibration is slight but adequate. Accuracy seems spot on (compared with several other top of the line rangefinders). The viewfinder optics are crystal clear and data readings are sharp and easy to read. Just don't do what I did and think the ULT-X is inaccurate BECAUSE you have it set to "meters" and think you're reading the distance in "yards". I recommend the ULT-X unless you need stabilization, for which you will pay much more.

I purchased this range finders because I also have their watch range finder. The watch works better than any I have ever had. Needed a step up for slope, now that it is legal, and immediately went with TecTecTec. Have used it twice now, and find that it is more accurate than the more expensive ones my buddies use. I like that. The ULTRA X gives me more confidence that I won't leave my approach shot short. And I haven’t since I started using it.

Works ok if you don't use the slope function, but is fairly useless when you do. I've read the instructions several times and tried their methods to get it to lock onto the flag, but invariably it will lock onto something behind the green. It's a crapshoot to get anything approaching the correct distance. And it never vibrates. I think I've felt it vibrate twice during the three rounds I've played with it.

It failed to "seek the flag", so I had to send back and upgrade to no 1 brand, which knows the difference between trees and flagsticks at the same course. $200 more expensive - but it works!

I have using this for a few months, most asked questions lately is “what you get”, very accurate, to one decimal point, love the vibration at lock, the easy handling and when allowed, the slope. Certainly seems rugged enough with all the rubberized edges, but just in case a wrist strap for the extra cautious. Not sure of the battery life, extensively used these last few months and going strong, the initial battery placement showed a brilliant design for the compartment, why most other products don’t make this easier is a puzzle. Definitely worth the money, you won’t be disappointed, if only I was as happy with my play.

I like that it finds the pin quickly, the vibrate function is really helpful, and the slope function is a must.The company is French, but the a downside is that it's made in China.I've been trying to avoid anything made in China, but the device is well made and does not feel cheap.I find often on Amazon products don't indicate where they are made.

To be fair this is the first range finder I have purchased. I wanted one with SLOPE features but also wasn't willing to spend 6-700$ for the top end brands. At half the price, this one was a winner. Compared with other golfers range finders, this was as good, if not better (most don't have slope) and way more accurate (and faster) than the APP I was accustom to using. It did take some practice to hit the pin consistently but the vibration feedback when you do is great. Would recommend!
