well-built and solid guitar strap...
The Solenne Music guitar strap is a nicely constructed nylon strap, that comes in five different colors. It features a small pocket at the front end of the strap, which can be used to store a few picks. The pocket is a good idea, but unfortunately it is a too shallow and loose, so you may lose your picks. The strap includes a string, so that it can be also used for an acoustic guitar.Nylon rarely rips or tears, so when something does fail, it usually involves the connecting tabs that attach to the guitar. Common problems include poor stitching that comes apart, or weak material that tears under stress. Fortunately, these leather pieces appear to be quite tough, and built to last. They also have a very small hole, which depending on whether you use strap locking hardware, could be important.I had previously recommend theĀ Protec nylon guitar strap , but after I recently experienced the deterioration and cracking of the leather end pieces on several Protec straps, I can no longer recommend this product. Because of the quality of the materials, I doubt that a similar failure would occur with the Solenne Music strap, and although the cost is a little higher, I would pick the Solenne Music product over the Protec. You don't want a strap that could break, and have your guitar drop to the floor, or land on your foot.
