Very good value and cuts well.
Crated and delivered with no issues. Some assembly required. Specific instructions for assembly would have been helpful. Manual needs work. Tows and mows very well. Exceeds expectations. Very good product for the price. Solid build.

DO NOT BUY FROM DIRTY HAND TOOLS - REFUSING TO HONOR WARRANTY
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.I purchased this mower about a year ago. It came with a 2 year warranty. As others have stated, the axles are made of poor quality steel and they bend simply by towing the mower over your field. Perhaps DHT thinks you are going to only use your "field and brush mower" on golf courses? Then this season the belt disintegrated when the poorly designed tension pulley came loose and the lower tension spring slipped off. At this point I decided to contact the company thinking since it is still under warranty they could help. Nope. Upon going to their website to file a Warranty Claim you are presented with the notice:"Due to the current state of our business and the COVID-19 pandemic, we will no longer be servicing warranty for our Dirty Hand Tools products."Really? You decided to just cease servicing your products that are still under warranty? Is this even legal? My purchase price included a 2 year warranty. If you are going to cancel warranty claims, you should offer to buy the unit back. Unfortunately, repeated attempts to contact someone at DHT go unanswered.Ironically, just under the canceled warranty notice you'll find this:"This is a great time to buy quality products at a great price!"Yeah, not so much. Your products are low quality and if you are going to cancel a warranty that was bought and paid for one has to question the "great price" they are getting.DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.

Works really well
Mower works really well and has plenty of power. I did have an issue with one of the wheels coming off but was able to put it back fairly easily and it's been working great ever since. I do want to state that I've only used it 4 times at this point.

BEAST
Currently Dirty Hand Tools discontinued this mower, but I picked mine up a month ago. It nocked out everything it touched. I bought it to mow a huge slope before going into my pond. Backing it down the bank was not working. I welded a 7 ft tongue extension like the one on it. Wow, got into it very well. The machine doesn’t stop. Pulled with Sportsman 570.Bad, throttle cable kinked up due to length.I paid $500, well worth it. Would not pay full price.

UPdated review 2019
Update I worked with the parent company of Dirty Hands and they did send me two more axle brackets. I was so happy and figured they had fixed the issue and upgraded their steel components. Not so!!! After an hour with the new components on the axles began to bend (see above picture). I then let 12lbs of pressure out of the tires to limit the amount of bounce that those tires cause hopefully mitigating some of the bend in the axles. The fact is they are using a very low carbon steel part, in other words this is cheap steel. I have sent the company an email stating that fact. Keep your fingers crossed. This is a good machine and it's a shame they are using cheap steel.

Complete Disappointment!!!
Sorry if my one star is misleading, it’s not deserved but I’m required to give at least one to write this review. From the factory the idler pulley was scraping and eating the metal bottom spring (photo). So that took 2 hours to diagnose and fix the screeching noise before the first use. Then I got 4 hours of use and another16 hours of maintenance (plus trips to parts store). Cheap alloy pins on the steel neck break. 14 bolts and 4 covers have to come off to get to the belt. The belt has already slipped off three times and the idler pulley springs jumped loose twice. This area is completely enclosed and has literally tore itself apart (see video of the belt spin up and notice smoke and belt shavings). I’ve replaced parts with much higher quality parts as I go, but I’m super frustrated with this thing. The extra long throttle cable got pinched when trailer neck pin broke sending it into an uncontrolled fishtail behind my ATV. I had to cut the cable short to use it (photo). So much for an American made product. I would never buy an Dirty Hand Tools product ever again! It’s counter productive to have to do this much maintenance for so little accomplished. Sad design. I wish I had a Swisher now. :(On the upside, if this product had a better belt access and better pulley tensioner design - it would easily earn more stars because of the strong deck and Kohler engine. But the critical flaws I mentioned before make it useless to own.

Poor quality. Poor design.
I’ve had this now for three weeks. So far both wheels are leaning and one wheel came completely off while mowing. The muffler has a cracked weld and is falling apart. I will start the peocess tomorrow of contacting the company to see if I can return it.
