Easy install, very comfortable!
I wasn't sure if I was going to like the look of a backrest on the Raider, but it looks great and can be easily removed at any time and thrown in a saddle bag or something while you are out. Just for reference, I have a 2014 Yamaha Raider. It supports your lower back very well and is a very welcome addition to my already comfortable bike. Adding this just give it that little bit of extra comfort for any ride. If you want my quick advice, it's a great buy, as it can be taken off and on whenever, so you don't need to commit to one style either way. The bracket isn't obvious when it's off.All that being said, I enjoy the backrest, but if I had to add one nitpick it would be that it's a bit too easy to remove. The backrest relies on an L shaped piece of metal to slide into a bracket with a slot that you attach to your passenger pillion seat. It's very stable and all, and while your riding, it's obviously not going anywhere. The only way this could be a downside is it can be taken off easily and walked away with. I'm not sure why anyone would do this..... but it's possible. You can remove it and stick it in a backpack or saddlebag though and then it would be a non-existent issue.Overall, it's a very nice backrest and you'll most likely enjoy it, so go for it.I'll update if anything strange happens with it in the future, but it seems well put together for sure.

Not worth the money.
CHEAPLY MADE.. Back rest is very loose. Not worth the money. If it was half price, it would better. If you don't plan to take it off and on. You need to screw the back rest to mounting plate to hold it tight. I would send it back, but I am going to screw it to mount, and it will work ok until I can afford my Mustang seats.

Theres a reason this one costs a third of what other brands do.
It mounts easily but there is nothing to hold the actual backrest in to the mount. Just a metal L shaped tab slides in the mounting bracket and nothing to secure it. And this may be different for other people but for me it forces me in an uncomfortably far forward/awkward position. (And im only 5'10" tall) I drilled and tapped a hole through the bracket to put a bolt through to secure it but theres not really a way to adjust the angle. So all in all...... it does work but you do get what you pay for.
