At first I bought a cheaper scabbard and it was just a waste of time. The material was flimsy, the padding might as well have been nonexistent, and it was so baggy. That cheap scabbard would've worked great for collecting candy on Halloween night, but it was not appropriate for a fire arm. This US peacekeeper scabbard is worth every penny. It is better than the highest quality scabbards I saw in local stores. It's the perfect size for any of the Mossberg 590 series, even when you include a side saddle shell holder and a bullfrog laser sight. The material is rugged, stiff, and well stitched. I can't imagine a shotgun having enough accessories that it would require one of those oversize 10 inch wide bags. I am dumbfounded trying to come up with a reason for all of those10 inch wide bags. This is the one to get. I only wish they had one in Desert camo.

This scabbard fits nicely on my molle rucksack and holds my Mossberg Shockwave nice and securely. I have a cheap, but effective reflex red dot mounted on it and it still fits fine. I like that the trigger is securely covered too, nice and safe.

Great product. The ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the strap is a bit short and the clips are a bit flimsy I'll probably get a 12 guage bandolier sling for it. It is the perfect length for a bare Shockwave or other such short barreled "firearm", without a side saddle or red dot. You might want something bigger if your gun has a longer barrel or stock. It has some Molle straps to attach extra gear to.

One of the few out there that will accept a shotgun with a light and/ or a pistol grip, but still not be too bulky.JJC It's generally resistant to water and will protect the firearm from the elements, while still allowing rapid access if needed. I'd recommend putting and old clean wash cloth all the way down to prevent the muzzle from wearing into or tearing the bottom of the scabbard. That goes with any scabbard BTW. This easily accepts any molle configured accessories such as a shell pouch, which I would strongly recommend. This is a solid product.JJC Get it.

I like the fact that this well made canvas case has Molle straps galore and that it is adjustable with another 4-5" length which is neatly strapped closed on the case if needed. My original Voodoo case for my Rem Tac 12 left the receiver and trigger housing and part of my side saddle attachment stick out when properly holstered as it was way too short. This US Peacekeeper fully holds most 18" and shorter shotguns with plenty of room even with attached breech tubes,lights and high profile sights and side saddle. I now own 2 others for my Mossberg Persuader and Winchester Stainless marine. Great product and extremely well made

Purchased this as it was the largest scabbard I saw. States that it fits shotguns with most flashlight mounts. Does not fit an A300UP with side mounted streamlight. Tore up the interior "cordura" trying to slide it in on the first use. No it doesn't have a standoff choke on it. More cheap Chinese made garbage masquerading as something of higher quality than it really is.

I am using for a mossberg 920 tactical with red dot, and am happy with everything but I may need to upgrade the shoulder strap buckle, which tends to shift strap a bit.

Solid construction. Expands for added barrel length. Pistol grip slot expansion is also adjustable. Attaches to backpack and rear panel of plate carrier nicely. Heavy material and strong stitching. All in all, IMHO a quality scabbard. Mossberg 500 pictured with no illumination attached.
