This gauge is fine for any welder, hobbyist or pro. It measures pretty accurately using known sizes of metal stock and wire. If you check the gaps with a high-end digital caliper, you may find small, insignificant discrepancies, but it shouldn't be a problem once the helmet drops. The seller shipped it within about 2 hours after I placed the order, & I got it the next day. I recommend going with this one. You could certainly do worse.

Great product just what i was looking for compact and easy to read.

I need this for work and home. Actual gauge thickness representation is so much better than just measurements sometimes. Prefer this to the big wheel style / kind of gauge.

It is what it is and was a perfect size for my application. I can’t see how you could go wrong.

The gauge works but it is thin and cheep. If I need another one at some point I will look for something that won’t bend if it’s in my back pocket.
