Definitely Not 21st Century tech - don't buy for Smart function
What can you say? It's a Roberts. It sounds good and it looks good if you like this sort of thing. But the tech is a dog and it's positively archaic to set-up and use.I bought it for a a few reasons - not least that it was boasting full compatibility with Alexa so like a twat - I bought a whole bunch of Alexa's off the back off this purchase to start making a Smart Home. And this is the only device in the whole house that doesn't work with it. I spent an entire day with the truly dreadful supporting apps UNDOK and Nuvola Smart Frontier, poring over manuals and internet support - an ultimately soul destroying endeavor that ends every time in it sitting there on the network stubbornly unresponsive. I've deleted it, unlinked accounts, renamed it, re-added it and it still refuses to function. I've read varying reviews - some exactly mirroring mine: the apps don't work. I've read others where it has just clicked. But were it to be proved to be a network protocol here that it didn't like, it really would be no consolation that it didn't like my mesh settings. Simply because there is nowhere in the manuals or support from Nuvola where it suggests there are conditions where it wouldn't.There are other really irritating habits it has - of abandoning the date and time without being unplugged and the equally baffling option to set it on GMT only for it not to add or subtract daylight saving hours. I found the setting to change it but not without tinkering about with it's 80's menu set-up which is horrific.I have another Roberts - an older Pure Evoke. It's beauty is in it's simplicity. I don't ask much of it and it doesn't ask much of me. Where I think they've gone wrong here is in trying to make a device with masses of features they simply haven't invested in the right third party services to support. A shame really.

Doesn’t connect to WiFi network
Faulty product - lots of features but main one not functional which means device is useless. Had much better experience with predecessor model.
