This order had arrived very promptly. It was well packaged and had a good set of accessories. They installed fairly painlessly and so far I have no issues with their performance with how they give off a nice soft lighting for my workshop. I had used the typical rope light before, but they had sections that burned out and had discolored to a dingy yellow over time, which was quite noticeable when I replaced a strand. They were able to still fit right into the other support brackets, so I am pleased with how it worked out and will probably order more.Update: I still use these in my workshop almost 2 years later and wound up having to move, took them down, and installed in my new workshop. I remain impressed with how well they work, so I did get a new strand for outside lighting. So far so good. Almost too bright for this type of accent lighting, so I just needed to change the angle of how they are directing their light away from seeing them directly.

Put them up under the overhang on our house and on a timer. They're nice and bright and the 3k kelvin temp is the perfect warm color for a great ambient lighting feeling. The quality of the housing the lights are in is pretty rugged. The end cap helps keep moisture out. And while I didn't use the extra hardware to cut the rope it was a nice touch to include it in case you want to cut to fit the perfect length and not waste what's left over. 50ft for $40 is a great price for this quality. I'm quite impressed with these lights.

As several of the other reviews state, these lights are bright and non dimmable. With that said, I love the amount of light they give off and they were very easy to cut and install.Also, I used Romex staples to attach to the hand rails. They were a lot easier for me to install and hold the lights perfectly flat. I am a lot OCD. Also a 9/16” hole was drilled in my vertical post, as close to the hand rail as possible, and the lights run through the post to minimize connections. One plug powers the whole deck. It took some planning but worked out amazing!

Edit: June2020 we have had it for almost a year and it has held up well! We get so many compliments on how nice the lighting is, not overpowering but a nice ambiance. Very happy with it!!I used this to run lights around my deck railing. It was flexible enough to turn and twist as needed around things. We had to fasten it under the top of the railing so it faced downward instead of facing outward due to how strong the lights were. It made you squint even in moderat light. To remidy the areas we wrapped it around to go up and around things like a doorway we turned the LED lights inward towards the wood. If it was out is was too bright. The amount of light was much more acceptable for the eye, no squinting, and it was a warmer glow due to reflecting off the wood. We have only had it on for 5days. We will see how long it lasts. All in all it was not hard to set up and the results were great.

Very pleased with these lights. They enlighten my winding driveway and shed a great light during dark and rainy days in BC. They have been very durable. I was surprised the the casing of the bulbs did not discolour because of the sun's UV rays. It's as clear today as when I purchased it. I've had no issues since purchasing them and they've performed much better than other imports I've used in the past.

I purchased this item based on the mostly good review. When I received this item, I connected the LED tube on one end with one of the power plugs, and the LED lights worked great. I noticed that the connection on the far end was bent a little bit out of the box; I didn't pay close attention to it since the LED lights seemed to be working, but this turned out to be a serious problem.Fast forward to a few days later after I installed the lights, I noticed the LED lights started flashing and a few seconds later some smoke coming out from the connection which was bent. Apparently, the connection and the tube nearby was burned and it was black inside.I am very disappointed with the product quality. The power plug came with fuse, but it was not helpful in this situation at all. I think the connection probably came with some broken wiring inside. I was glad I was home when this happened, otherwise it could turn into a fire hazard.

I purchased 1 light and installed it around the outdoor bar area, show it how great the light was and it made the outdoor area super bright. so purchased another one to expand the project.this is not a rope (circular) but rather a flath (ractagular) 'rope' light. it comes with hardware to mount it and extra power supply in case you want to cut it. i used the whole rope without cutting it. there is a bult in fuse that can be replace in case of power surge (good job on manufacture for thinking about this).bright durable and awesome product. will be purchase another soon with diffrent color.
