It is made of rubber aND from some sturdy metal. She loves Gummy Bears, so when i gave her this as a gift she totally freaked (in a good way). The bracelet is very good, but i do agree that her 3 yr old son has been wanting to eat it. Other than that it is a very nice gift to give to anyone who loves gummy bears :)

I think you will like this item if you like candy jewelry but I wouldn't buy it because if you have kids they may think it's candy on a bracelet.
