Very soft and comfortable sheath ...
First impressions when I took it out of the package is that it was very nice and classic made - leather is very soft and subtle and I believe it will work for a variety of different medium size knives that I own - I have always just stuck knives like this with no pocket clip into my pocket with no worries but seems often I find myself looking around the house for where I misplaced my knife only to find that it had slipped out while sitting in my chair or couch - never thought I would be a sheath guy but this one is small, light and you barley notice that you have it on your belt - for the peace of mind of not having to worry about losing my knife while out in public where it will be gone forever is worth it to me - also, I now can free up a bit more precious room in my front pocket for other uses - the Case Sodbuster is the knife shown that I carry in it now - they are around 3.5 inches long and fits great - being a fatter/wider knife it works well and can unbutton and grab with ease - I tried putting the Case Copperlock in it as well ... it’s about the same length as the Sodbuster and it will work ok - that knife is a little slimmer so it sinks into the sheath a bit more than the SB and the tip shows just above the top of the sheath and it’s a little slicker to grab onto and definitely takes a bit more effort to get it out - so it should be fine for 3.5” knives though some will work better than others - most others up to around 4” should fit great ... but again it all depends on the width - overall it’s a great little sheath for the money - time will tell how it holds up but I imagine it will age like a great leather wallet over time - I hope they make one like this in black someday

Nice sturdy sheath
This sheath does it’s job well. It’s light but sturdy. Solid button snap for secure closure. My trapper knife fits perfectly. The delivery was delayed by two days but I got a better deal through Amazon then on the shelf at Cabelas. Very happy with my purchase.

Nice Sheath
Very impressed with the quality of materials and workmanship. It provides easy access to the knife and good security to holding and protecting the knife while in the sheath. An excellent sheath particularly for the price.

Tight fit .
In the early 1970's I bought my first Case knife . It was a Cheetah with a brown jigged bone handles and carbon steel blade ( back then stainless blades were not very common ) . I loved this high quality knife , but it was quite large and wore out my pockets . I always wanted a belt sheath for it , but could not find one that fit properly ( either too tight or too large and bulky ) . When I found this sheath , I thought it might work . The Cheetah fit too tight and protruded out too far ( that's why I rated this 4 stars instead of 5 ) . That's ok though , as I have collected many Case knives over the years and several will fit this sheath just fine after breaking in . This is a good quality sheath for the money . The belt loop is a bit small for my belt , but works . I am pleased with my purchase and will probably buy another one .

Great quality sheath
I was skeptical at first. I have a Swiss army field master that I bought this for. It fits perfectly. Almost like it was made for it. My only suggestion is the button is not protected on the inside of the sheath, so in this case, pulled the knife in and out and closing the button will scratch the scales of the knife. To curb this I took Velcro with adhesive, the softer of the Velcro, and cut a circle to cover the snap button on the inside of the sheath and stuck it on. It makes the knife that much more secure while in the sheath, as well as protects the knife from further scratching or unwanted damage. Great sheath and for 10$, the quality is great.

Practical. Good leather.
This sheath is perfect for protecting a case knife. I bought this for my large stockman. It’s better to keep it in a belt sheath because if it floats in my pocket the knife attracts Lint. I really like the side draw style it makes for efficient carry being out of the way yet just at hands reach. I love case knives and this company makes some of the best American made knives that deserve to be protected. And proudly displayed on the belt

Quality leather
My Casexx sheath is of excellent quality and looks great. I was initially concerned that my 3.5-inch Casexx knife might be too small to retrieve easily, but it wasn't a problem. Like the Case knives, the sheath is very well-made.

Good overall sheath, but has some critical flaws
This is a good sheath for the trapper (and other medium sized) variety of Case blades. The suede is soft and forms to each knife nicely, the snap is crisp and easy to open. The belt loop is wide enough for a real belt, and not just a 1" suit belt. The major flaw is there is no liner behind the snap. On other knife sheaths this wouldn't matter much, but you buy a closed sheath of this size, to transport your good trappers/stockmans/russlocks... and they all have such nice one-of-a-kind scales and shields. Pushing on the snap to close the sheath, and yanking on it to open... rubs against the scales (or bolsters, depending on the knife), and leaves small nicks. Over time, it will ruin your knife.A Bummer, because that's the antithesis of it's function. But it's an easy fix, a piece of thin rubber matte, or felt, glued to the inside of the sheath.... and presto! All better. It's not a fatal flaw, but head this warning, and you'll not have to ruin the collectibility of your favorite knife to find that out!I bought two, and they get used daily (one at a time of course), holding my Bose Sowbelly Stockman with Ebony scales, and my Russlock with sambar stag, respectively. I used a felt disc to cover the inside of the snap, and it actually helps with the tension to hold the knife in place and prevent it from jiggling. Good buy, but READ THIS FIRST!

Usually good quality, customer service excellent to deal with.
I've bought three of these cases for various knives and they all have turned out to be a bargain price. 2/3 have been excellent quality leather and stitching as well as Taking form to my knives right away (one is a Leatherman Wave+ and the other is a knife given to me by my hall. The third is a CRKT Fossil). One sheath was not as high quality of leather with the cuts being sloppy, the leather thin and uneven as,well as the dye used ran out of the leather when wet leaving it a weird pinkish color (light colored Sheth in picture). I asked to exchange it to which they informed me I could only return it, which was fine. They promptly sent me a return email but I ended up keeping it because even though it wasn't as good as the others, it did its job and is the one use at work since in not worried about ruining it. A few coats of oil made it look a bit better anyways. To fit a knife I suggest oiling the sheath and letting it set for a day or two. Then when ready, run HOT water all over the sheath for about 20 seconds then slide the knife in and work the leather around the shape of the knife.
