Great Buy for the Price
Arrived promptly and in good condition. Take others advice and when you open it have some form of tarp under it to collect the packing. Good directions-requires some assembly, mainly screwing the sections together. It went together smoothly-no problems with the threading. Remember to keep the power cord pulled through each segment and out the base. Nice finish-attractive. Weighted base keeps the unit upright. Uses a standard LED or incandescent bulb. Definitely worth the price.

Very Pleased With Purchase
Great lamp for reading, hand work, etc! No issues in putting the lamp together and I really like being able to adjust the shade according to what I’m doing.The lamp is quite heavy so no danger of accidentally knocking it over.

Easy to put together reading lamp
The brushed brass of this lamp is beautiful. I personally needed a reading lamp that goes as low as 47” to accommodate my reading chair. The lamp has a very heavy square base which makes it very substantial and unlikely to tip. Looks more pricey than it actually was. Just love it. No complaints at all.

This lamp has a heavy base, so it stays put! It is the perfect lamp next to my reading chair. I am going to buy another one for the same room, where I need a light but not a table.

Faux finish but nice lamp
Nice lamp-the finish is painted so it is more like a 'faux brass' but it is a good price and a nice quality and heavy base.

Nice looking, really solid, and well balanced. I'd buy it again.Negatives are what many others have mentioned. The mounting collar for the shade is thin plastic. It could be easily broken if you're rough with it, or knock the lamp over. It would be nice if the collar was stronger. Also, the packing is really bad. Box is cheap, and the styrofoam packing will get everywhere, no matter how careful you are.
