Fans who have grown accustomed to Steve Jablonsky's stylish (both loved and hated) scores to the Michael Bay film series will not be disappointed.Enter one of the leading voices in film and television music today, Brian Tyler.This is a knockout tv soundtrack for the animated series. Tyler knows how to reflect on previous scores in a series or franchise (his ALIEN VS PREDATOR REQUIEM is a gem)... This feels like a TRANSFORMERS film score. The CD sounded BEAUTIFUL!! I had listened to the soundtrack on YouTube but it sounds even better on the CD. There is not much else to say, it was wonderful and I cannot really describe it. The case in which the CD was in did not impress me, but nonetheless, that is not the reason I bought it. I will most likely continue to buy albums by this composer! Two thumbs up! (I would give it more thumbs up but you see I only have two thumbs...)

When I first started watching this series, I didn't pay too much attention to the music. But as the episodes went by, I realized there was some quality music on the show. I decided the soundtrack might be worth a listen. I was not disappointed. The arrangements deliver powerful moments throughout and it isn't hard to pictures scenes from the episodes as you listen to the appropriate tracks. Highly recommended for Prime fans or anyone who loves the Transformers fandom.

Bought this as a gift but was able to listen to it and it's great. Now if I can only find the other seasons as this is only the score(s) from Season 1 of Transformers Prime.

This Cd is amazing. I used to only have the 10 song long one, but then I saw this with 25 FREAKING SONGS, AND HAD TO HAVE IT. Quick shipping, as it only took 2 days. The only thing I am kinda eh about is the paper case its in, but other than that, I love it! Currently listening to it now :3

This soundtrack's sole problem is that it is incomplete by virtue of having none of the new music from season 2 or 3. Other than that its an excellent group of instrumentals.

I bought this because I enjoy Transformers in general, but when I tried to play it as background music at work, I couldn't focus. I kept getting swept away, but it would be great for housework!

Brian Tyler is a composer who consistently composes great music, but of late, his all out action/electronic scores have become to get a little samey. I was hoping he would pull something out of the bad for Transformers Prime and I have to say I absolutely loved this release. This is a largely orchestral score with choir and some electronics (although most of the time they are fairly subtle). It contains some brilliant action writing, and when Tyler is on the top of his game this is of the highest quality. A forewarning for those of you who liked the Steve Jablonsky scores for the Transformers films, none of his themes are reprised on this album.The first part of the main theme which dominates the album thematically, is note for note identical to first part of Michael Giacchino's main theme for  Star Trek - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack . That didn't bother me hugely as I liked that theme anyway, and hearing a number of excellent variations on this album was good. The album contains 25 tracks in total. Some standout tracks for me were epic "Transformers Prime" (Track 1), with good orchestrations of the main themes. It's difficult to pick tracks that are the most bombastic because the majority of the tracks have great action writing in one form or another. I also liked a smaller string theme that mutates slowly into an electronic form of itself in "One Shall Rise" (Track 3) and "The Space Bridge" (Track 17). The final track "Transformers Prime End Title" reprises all of the themes in a nice 3 minute suite. It is an album that relies heavily on a small number of themes, and how much you like them will decide whether you like the whole album or hate it.The album runs in at just over 70 minutes and this is a good length. There are plenty of variations of the main theme, and it isn't non stop action throughout which helps the album to flow well. The album is wonderfully mixed and the string, brass and choral sections shine through with exceptional clarity.Overall, if you a fan of Brian Tyler's style and enjoy a soundtrack that is great fun but undemanding to listen to, you will love this release. I consider releases like this to be a bit of a guilty pleasure, but when the quality is as high as it is in Transformers Prime, I can't help but love it. It won't relax you at the end of the day, but stick it on in the car or when exercising it will get the adrenaline rushing. As an action score, it isn't highly original. However, the themes, orchestrations and overall quality of the album means anything less than 5* would be a disservice. Star Trek - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

I really liked the music used for this series and hope that further discs are released, It has a similar feel to the soundtrack of the live-action movies, using character-based themes. Highly recommended, whether you're a Trans-fan or just like modern-classical/soundtrack music.

Vor allem mit Kopfhörern merkt man daß der Ton auf der CD viel zu laut aufgenommen wurde, was zum sogenannten Clipping führt und die lauten Stellen verzerrt werden und krachen. Diese Musik ist unwiederbringlich zerstört und die CD sowie die MP3s sollte man aus dem Verkauf nehmen.Echt schade daß es diese Musikstücke nicht gut produziert in guter Qualität käuflich erwerblich gibt.Und ob die anderen Veröffentlichungen dieses Labels genauso qualitätslos produziert wurden will ich gar nicht erst testen.

Brian Tyler est vraiment un compositeur que j'adore et que je respecte. Le challenge était de faire une BO pour cet animé en faisant comme pour celle d'un film... CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! C'est tout bonnement parfait! Ces musiques sont mythiques pour les transfans désormais!
