I haven't tried, but I don't see why it couldn't. I don't think you would be able to grind it finer than caster sugar.

Q: Are there only 3 settings for coarseness and is the finest suitable for expresso?

There are numerous grind settings available for you to choose. Unscrew the knurled knob to release the handle. Under the handle is a U-shape steel piece that locates in the slots of a disc. You choose where you place the U shape piece, and this defines the grind coarseness. You can grind espresso fine or more coarse. The finest grind increases the time to grind enough coffee for one drink. If you are patient and prepared to turn the handle for maybe 300 turns, you'll get a very even fine grind that I believe makes a beautiful flavour coffee. That's my fundings. Enjoy!

Q: Can I grind nuts/seeds with this?

Definitely! I used it to grind mung beans (which is hard enough) and even rice (small enough) and they still come out pretty well grounded.

Hello! I believe the container can hold about 300g of coffee beans. About 50g of coffee beans can be ground at once. Thanks!
