Lab tested
Got these for a sledding trip in the West Virginia mountains over New Years 2018. Had a great time with them. Sometimes one person, sometimes two, sometimes me and the dog (so the dog could pull it back up the hill). Held up very well. Four days of sledding in cold conditions (below zero Fahrenheit) and still like new. Four adults, three kids, a Golden Retriever, a Labrador and a German Shepherd Dog all approve.

HOURS OF SLEDDING FUN!
Honestly, with all the reviews saying these wouldn't last a minute and that they cracked on the first sled ride, I was skeptical. But, since I am one of those hard learners (and took ample video to use as evidence to post if, indeed, those reviews were correct), I went ahead and bought the pair of SR Sleds. Boy, were those reviewers WRONG! Since the abundance of snowfall in Nov 14 to present (March 2015), the kids have had many snow days to ride these sleds ragged... They've crashed into the garbage containers (lightly), each other (my sons thought demolition derby would be a great game in fresh powder for some reason), and even bumped into their father while he was talking to a neighbor without even making a dent! Both sleds have gone through many scratchy ice patches on the way down our sloped hills and have managed to survive hours of continuous sledding with zero warping, cracking, or denting. Now, I will say that one board was initially a lot faster than the other, but I think it's because it was sort of bent a little with shipping--but that kink got worked out after about 3 hours of continuous sledding. Now the sleds are about the same in shape and smooth riding experience. The kids have fun riding individually, together, and with an adult (Grandparent, Dad, or myself). But I will not lie and say I have not grabbed a sled and enjoyed a handful of rides on my own!!! Overall, I think the pair of SR sleds is an excellent buy and will entertain both the kids and adults for many a snow adventure.

Good quality at the right price
My family needed a couple of sleds for a recent snow trip. We don't live in the snow and we only visit a couple times a year for winter vacations. We didn't need anything fancy, just enough for a couple of boys (9 and 12) to have some fun in the snow. They beat on the sleds all weekend, and they survived for the next trip (the sleds and the boys). As the description (and other reviewers) have mentioned, the molded plastic is more flexible than you might expect, but this didn't cause a problem for the kids, and the sleds were big enough that my wife and I had no problems using them.Ultimately, the pair cost less than a single sled from many competitors, and that was the biggest factor. For the price, I wasn't disappointed.

Fits adult and child at same time fine. I rode in it fine as well and ...
Can't complain much for the price. They did the job a couple months ago when we went to the mountains and didn't break. Fits adult and child at same time fine. I rode in it fine as well and I'm not a small guy! (almost 6ft, 250lbs). You will be sliding super fast in this!

Fast and sturdy, just avoid the rocks
These sleds are fast. We took them out to the pass this weekend. It was not fresh snow and pretty icy. Some fist and softball sized round rocks were just below the snow in some places. The lighter kids skimmed over them fine but with my 180 lbs on the sled I managed to punch a big hole in the bottom of the sled. The sled is garbage now, and it was totally my fault for not minding the rocks. These sleds are awesome and a lot of fun. Even on the icy rough and rutted areas we got come pretty good air and the sleds otherwise held up great. Temps where 37 degrees so not super cold.

Not worth the money!!!
My boys received a blue and green sled for Christmas. We used them last week for the first time. Both of them cracked and busted with in 30 minutes. My boys are 65 and 100 pounds so the weight should not have been an issue. Basic down hill sledding nothing crazy. I would have expected a better quality at the price I paid.

Sad Kids
I purchased two of these for my 6 and 9 yr olds, for Christmas.. We reside in central Iowa and have had only a couple snow falls this winter. They waited a month before having enough snow to use them and the bottom of both sleds cracked and broke apart upon first use. They did not hit or run into anything. My six yr olds was the first to break apart! I expected them to at least last a season!! 😡

Thankfully it snowed on Christmas and my children were able to immediately enjoy them. The plastic construction is thick and sturdy. I expect many seasons out of them. Great fun for all.

Work well in the right conditions
My family has put these sleds through the rigors. They've held up very well. They're a little spendy, but are durable in turn. In order for them to be effective however, you need specific conditions. If the snow isn't really good for coasting you may need a larger hill to make certain you can gain enough speed. They don't work well on shallow hills, but they do work very well usually. If you're looking for a good family set of sleds for coasting that should last longer than the throw away sleds you can buy locally, look no further.

Good fun
Good speed and control however the sloping walls don’t hold your butt in the sled when jumping and cornering. If the the ridges went straight up instead if sloping outwards it keeps adult riders in the sled
