Value for money from a good company
I bought this to have some protection when transporting my Nikon P1000.The case fits the camera perfectly and it fits even when you have the lens hood reverse mounted, (i.e. not in use). The neoprene-type material offers better protection than the synthetic type OEM case that I have for my DSLR.Please see the photo of their card included with the product. They are not offering something super-complicated but it was well packaged, mostly in paper not plastic, good for the planet. They are selling something which does the job, does it well and is a reasonable price in my opinion compared to the alternatives.I rarely write a review unless I think a product is especially bad or especially merits highlighting for 'doing what it says on the tin' and doing that very well. In this case, I also took the time to photograph and write the review for another reason. The company asked politely and with humility, at least in my opinion if the buyer liked the product whether they would leave a review. In the last decade or so we have all become use self-promotion from companies and individuals who are almost pathologically un-self-aware. Most of us are fed up of being told to 'like and subscribe'. What this company, (Megagear) wrote is instructive.First and foremost.Thanks.Then that they appreciate the business and the they hope the product is appreciated. Finally that the feedback of whatever type is greatly appreciated and they ask you to provide it on Amazon and if you are unhappy in any way, to e-mail them directly. It was a well structured appeal which resulted in a time-poor person like myself responding. As my French colleagues would say, 'Chapeau! Megagear'.

Good cover for my nikon
I used the cover for my Nikon cool pix and it fits really well. Prevents any scratching of the camera

Not quite big enough when closing the top of the case. (see written review)
With the large lens on the P1000 which you say the case is made for but not as I use it. (I will explain)I find the camera is best used on a tri pod or mono pod due to the weight of the lens, so I have the quick release holder for the tripod always screwed to the camera to save time. But find the top of the case is not made to accommodate the camera with the quick release holder fitted. So the lid of the case does not close correctly which is sad for the overall quality of the case.

good camera protection
Bought this for Nikon coolpix P950 not the P1000 but fits great. good protection as I use a back for camera instead of proper camera bag.

Very light
The media could not be loaded. Quality is OK its light and not weatherproof ie water/rain. Fits snuggly the velcro tabs either side are again OK but is klined to come undone due to it only being velcro. Overall its just OK value for money "just"

Abysmal
It’s not fit for purpose. It’s a good shape but completely soft and offers no protection. Terrible value for money. No strap. Why with expensive cameras can’t you get a reasonable case. So disappointing. I review fairly and I would advise against buying this. Can’t understand the good reviews I’ll ignore reviews in future. I’ve bought material to line this to give it some protection but I am so disappointed.

No problems
Can't see what I can test, yes the camera fits perfectly and appears to be protected by the case..
