Addition AND Alternative to PegboardsOne of the greatest tools a person can get for organizing their garage is a pegboard. One of the greatest aggravations are pegboard hooks. They fall, hang, and the hooks can grip to the tool. Especially the plastic hangers. When using magnets for your tools, the magnets will stay put. This might be good for tools that you use often, or for tools that have a tendency to come out with the hook. You can screw the magnets DIRECTLY into the wall behind the pegbaord. If you want to bypass the pegboard directly, just mount the magnets on a wall of plywood. STICKS TO ANY METALLIC SURFACE So if you have a rolling toolbox, a rolling cabinet, a metal rolling tool chest - these magnets would be great if you want to adhere them to the cabinet. Use the adhesive to help stick them on the side (so they don't come off with the tool), and hang all of your wrenches and things. ORGANIZE YOUR GARAGE / SHOP / AUTOMOTIVE TOOLS These magnets are for tools. Do you work on cars? Are you a woodworker? Do you own a workshop? These magnets are for you. They can be for home use or industrial use. You won't be able to find a better organizing system anywhere else. HOW MUCH WEIGHT WILL IT HOLD? The magnets are made out of strong rare-earth neodymium magnets. The strongest that are made (that are not electromagnets). However they are made for single use tools. The magnets themselves will hold a good 5 to 10 lbs whenever they are mounted properly and have great surface area. About 5 pounds with average surface area. If you have a very long tool (like lawn and garden tools) then you can use multiple magnets on the sides and in the middle. This could potentially hold as many pounds as you need as long as it has metal to adhere to.

These are surprisingly helpful in my workshop!
These magnets are very strong and extremely helpful in my workshop! While taking up next to no space, they have helped me make short work of changing the collection bag on my dust collector by pinning the bag to the metal rim while i put the ratcheting band around the bag ( a usually awful and frustrating task_, keep the collet wrench for my router within reach on the side of my router table, and even held several of my lathe chisels up off of my bench and in an easy to reach spot. I cannot stress how strong these are compared to the tiny footprint each one occupies. Helpful addition!

Nice and compact
So I purchased these magnets to hold up a motion sensor light on my shed I had to use all four (4) that came with the purchase I just think maybe I should of got a bigger size to give it the more secure hold. It's holding it up for the moment but I think it might fall down at some point. Keep my fingers crossed.

A hidden gem.
These come in handy for those tools u use a lot but need it in a area that u don’t have anyway to hold it. it also works with a peg board. Magnet is really strong
