The light is beautiful, but I would say that you need a lot of patience and a little skill to be able to put it together. It came in a small box. It took some time to put all the arms on. They were difficult to install as not to cross thread and each individual light has a set screw that has to be unscrewed and screwed back in with a tiny Allen wrench. I took my time and was able to do it. It is aesthetically, beautiful, lightweight, and installs on flat and slanted ceilings. I opted for bright round bulbs because my kitchen is dark. I’m sure that with a different bulbs you could completely change the look of the fixture. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed, but remember , it has to be assembled. Take your time you can do it.

The Sputnik chandelier was very reasonably priced and shipped super quickly. It looks great in my mid century modern home built in the late 50’s!

Great modern light fixture! I got the flush mount for our butlers pantry and the chandelier for our eat in kitchen. Easy to install for the DIY folks and looks more expensive than it is. Great light!

I had a ceiling fan in my living room that didn’t have a light so it was pretty dark for a while. This is the most perfect chandelier/light fixture.. like I absolutely love it. Don’t hesitate to buy this!

What a PITA to assemble.A couple tips: 1. The instructions suck!2. Be sure to loosen the set screws in the center hub for each arm before you try to screw them in.3. The "top" comes off so you can pull the wires into the hub as you screw in the arms.4. The downrods are not labeled - BUT one is different - female threads at both ends. This one goes on last!5. Why would they ask you to rate brightness on a light that does not come with bulbs?All in all, it's very bright with the Mastery Mart LED 60W equivalent bulbs. Glad I had a dimmer switch.Looks good over the dining room table.

Love it! I hesitated with this purchase because most of the reviews said that it’s so bright and a dimming switch is a must, and we are not handy people, let alone I couldn’t find a 3 switch plate dimming plate. But I loved the look and the price so I took a chance and a dimming switch is NOT necessary if you use 4 watt Edison bulbs. It is bright but not overwhelming at all. My home does not get direct sunlight due to where the windows are so I love how it brightens up the dining room. It was easy enough to install for my husband and his friend, neither who is super handy there was some annoyance with the screwing it to the plate because they don’t have anything holding them down. But over all I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this!

Okay so after installing and living with this fixture for a month I have to say it was a great buy! It is not only unique and beautiful but it is also really good quality for the amount that I payed for it. It was easy to put together and install as wel as sturdy without being heavy and very affordable to boot! There has been no issues with flickering or shorting either so you can't go wrong here.. As you can read I am impressed! Since I don't have a dimmer switch and my kitchen and living room area is attached I went with 2700k 1 watt patio led edison light bulbs that are 10 watt light bulb equivalent. This equals 80 watts in total because there are 8 light bulbs all together. Yes this is a very warm light but it works for me considering my livingroom lights are usually on as well. I hope this helps with your decision on whether or not you should bite the bullet and buy one.

This is a well made, solid light fixture. Absolutely stunning and suits my kitchen island so beautifully. I have had many compliments on it and would definitely recommend. Love, Love, Love It!

Initially I ordered this light fixture and one of the connectors was striped and we were unable to assemble. I ordered another one and had absolutely no hassles or problems returning the defective fixture to Amazon. The new fixture came quickly and looks amazing in our family room and provides lots of light and gives a beautiful ambiance when used with the dimmer switch.

Hung up, but the whole product is not "square" so from the side view the fixture looks crooked. poor quality. Wish I could return.
