The shoes were fine but the Velcro lasted about a month before it completely gave way. An adult may be able to be gentle with it, but asking a kid to be careful pulling the Velcro is not going to happen with single stitching. Unless this stitching changes these shoes are not worth buying. The shoe itself held up just fine and could stand a lot more abuse but the Velcro only lasted a month.

These are comfy and easy for a preschooler to get on and off himself. They have a nice design. They are starting to wear down a bit on the sole but no more than an much more expensive brand so I think they are good value.
