Groomm Bamboo Double Sided Dog Grooming Brush : Latex-Free Eco Brush with Ergonomic Handle for short and long-hair breeds

I bought this brush for 3 of my 5 cats that ate medium/short hair cats. It's hard finding a brush that's not those flimsy metal brushes that you see everywhere. Some try to sell them for $10 when they are exactly the same thing. Rows of wires that poke through. They are cheap, bend easily, and barely grab any fur. This one is different. The brush is great. It gets in that thick layer of fur. I like using the other side to go into another layer of fur for the one with longest fur. Then, right after that do the brush to pick up anything it left off. Their hair is soooo shiny afterwards. My cats NEVER get brushed but they LOVE this brush :)

After the first use one of the metal brush bristles was missing. No more have fallen out since. Not a big deal because the dog doesn't know the difference, and the brush still works fine. Our dog is extremely short-haired (Manchester Terrier), and we use this brush more to soothe her than to groom her. This disappearing metal bristles is a recurring problem I have noticed with all double sided grooming brushes: the metal bristles are the first to fall out. Still, I am more than satisfied with my purchase and would not consider returning it for such a minor matter.

I really like this brush. The handle is really very comfortable to hold and both my dogs normally hate being brushed but did not have a problem when I started brushing them. I have a long and short haired dog so this brush is great an I highly recommend purchasing it.

Use it on my long haired cat. She loves her grooming time. I try to take some of the burden off of her by helping her "groom". Don't want hair balls for my baby ... Great brush for long haired cats too.

Wish I could find a happy medium. The first brush (completely different product) I bought broke upon first use. This brush is sturdy, but the bristles are too stiff and they make my dog uncomfortable. The brush is well-made and probably works well for longer-haired dogs. I just haven't found my perfect brush yet.

The brush is perfect so far, nothing i haven't seen before but that doesn't change how well made it is. I don't have any negatives to say, but i also can't find the 'Awesome!' Factor that makes it a 5 star purchase. It's worth every penny, it's sturdy and well made, each side is what it should be. And the price is extremely fair. I don't want anything more or less and if i were to lose this brush or by a twist of fate be broken i would buy the exact same thing.

nothing really negative..wish it was larger since I have a large golden retrieverstill looking for a larger brush with a larger handle
