Hikari HK22206 1.23 oz Vibra Bites Tropical Fish Food

Fish really love the food , price was good, only just started to feed them, so not seen any difference in the colours yet, but I will buy this product again

I acquired my Fighter and tried a number of differing appropriate foods to find what he really liked. Being a top of tank feeder he needed a food that stayed afloat, and tried various flake foods which were not touched, and as I had sample packs of floating pellets, I tried a branded micro which he liked and ate, and I also tried these Vibra Bites. They are mealworm based and are small worm shaped and about 2/3 mm long plus they stay afloat. He just loves these, so went to Amazon and grabbed a larger pack.For me, them coming in a pouch is not a good idea and the pouch needs to be sealed after use to exclude moisture etc etc but does not have a self seal strip, so I emptied these bites into a suitable Tetra box which is lidded and they are now stored in the correct manner, and with the cut out Vibra Bites label on the box face. Excellent product and really loved by my Siamese Fighter, and highly recommended by him.

I'd recommend soaking them in a bit of tank water for a few minutes first if you plan on giving them to small fish (ie. Danios or kribs) my fish love them and they don't sink too fast

I fedd my cichlids these as part of a varied diet they are like fishnp my trimacs go crazy for them 😜

Finally a dry food my discus eat, usual food is beef heart and was struggling to find a dry food they like and they seem to enjoy this.

Best food on the market the fish prefer this to fluval bug bites and some of the other foods on the market.

Tiny bits good for very small fish guppy’s or tetras Nothing else really fish seemed to enjoy it on first feeding

Nice feed for my tropical fishes... Doesn't spoil the water, good in size and packaging was really good.. overall I'll strongly recommend this product to purchase

Food wiggles like struggling worm, whats not to love about being the best predator in the tank.(Also, a lack of fillers and some higher quality ingredients make this a great food for fish.)

テトラオドンファハカに冷凍赤虫を与えていたのですが、冷凍赤虫を与えると水がすぐ汚れるので赤虫みたいなフードが有ればと思っていた所に見つけたので購入してみました。食べるかなー？と思い水槽に入れた所赤虫と変わらない食いっぷり！安いし買って良かったと思います。赤虫をあげてる方にはオススメです

The media could not be loaded. I enjoy feeding my fish with quality food, watching it eat is always a satisfying feel, so I spare time to research different fish foods. This hikari vibra bites is one such try. I bought this for my swordtails which are with me for many years and all the present pets are born in my tank. Now about the fish food, I served it very little for the first time to see how they accept, they immediately found out it's not blood worms and slowed down, though only some bigger fish ate it, no wastages, I repeated the process by serving very little of this food first and continued with the other regular food. After a week's time I found all my fishes got used to this and started finishing it quickly. This food is slow sinking type, which means it starts sinking within 2 mins or less, but sinks in a slow pace. my fish loves to catch it before it reaches the bottom, by the time it's completely soaked and soft. This food gets soft within 30 seconds, after that all the fish consumes it easily. My beta too loves it. As of now I will say all my fish eats it, but still HIKARI MICRO PELLETS are their favourite as I have seen them rushing to the surface and finish it too quickly. Finally i am not disappointed with this purchase and happy that this is a protein rich food with 46% protein. It's too early to say about the colour enhancing properties and growth rate. I believe the strong fish smell of this fish food is a good sign for most tropical fish to accept it. The only thing I am not happy is the pricing. It's too expensive for 35g. One can get a decent quality fish food at the pet store for below 100 for 100g.I usually switch off the air pump while feeding to avoid fast sinking. I serve this food at least two times the same quantity you see in the uploaded video along with other fish foods one after another for a single meal, but beginners please be cautious about overfeeding, serve very little initially to know your pets appetite.Hope it helps.
