Cat Scratch Bootcamp
Got a new couch after giving up on our old one, which was pretty much destroyed by our two cats. They had a great time with it but it was time to move on.While moving the new couch in, you could feel their eyes watching our every move. Waiting. Destruction was imminent. My first line of defense: nail trimmers. Not an easy task, but once a week appears to subdue the weapons at least a little.Second: a cat scratching post right next to the couch. They have other posts, but scratching is a social and territorial activity. I'm not allowing them to do that activity to the couch, but I am providing them with a place right next to it to take care of those needs.Last defense: these plastic barriers. I didn't have high hopes for these, but the thought process was to completely prevent their efforts and point them in the right direction -- hopefully with the end result of being able to take these barriers off, once the interest to completely destroy the couch has been thwarted. They stick on easily and aren't a huge eyesore, although I'm looking forward to removing them. But their function is served well. The cats are completely disinterested in laying a paw on this material. One or two attempts and they gave up -- we also quickly redirected them to the scratching post and gave treats and affection when they utilized that instead.I love my cats but man, I felt a sense of joy watching their claws run uselessly over this plastic. Seeing the disappointment and confusion. "cAnNoT dEmOliSH?? wHaT dO nOw?!" My couch will live on.I can't update yet whether this bootcamp (short term plastic, redirection to scratching post, high praise) will work, and whether I will be able to remove this product after a while. But that will come in due time!Another perk of this product: our cats LOVE to lay on their backs and pull themselves underneath furniture, irreparably destroying the underside of couches/beds/chairs in the process. It's the underneath, so sometimes I just give up, but this product does help a bit with this. On our bed, I lined the edges with the plastic -- the cats could still scratch underneath the couch, but usually they begin their scratching & pulling on the edge. By doing this, they feel the edge and become disinterested, and then they leave the area (hopefully to go to the scratching post literally a foot away). If you have a severe case, you could theoretically line the entire underneath of the bed with this stuff.Good luck out there, everyone.

Cat scratching prevention trial 97.
So far so good. I have a wretched fat little orange cat who thinks my couch is the best way to get me to squeal at him(which results in his screaming at me). These are easy to apply and seem to be working. If nothing else they are a great way to aggravate a wretched self proclaimed meow king if you have one.

No more scratching
Very easy to use. Cat does not like the adhesive so she just walks away. No more scratching on our box spring.

Worth it
We had leather furniture. We have foster kittens going in and out of our house. We have one cat. Leather and cats don't go together. When we bought a new sofa and love seat, we carefully bought the tightest weave there was. But the kittens still want to crawl, because they can't jump yet, up the sides. This is so easy to put on. I lay it on the counter upside down and put weights on it to flatten it out. It only takes 10 minutes or so. It goes on so easily and hardly shows at all. I do use the little furniture screws (bought from Amazon) to make sure it holds it in place. My cat, nor my fosters, use the couch as a scratching post so I can't comment on this aspect. But, as far as the kittens being able to climb up the arms, it is wonderful. I recommend a tightly woven fabric for your furniture if you have cats.

ABSOLUTELY USEFUL !!! I LOVE IT !!!
My cat was constantly scratching the corners of my sofa. I want to buy a new one so I tested this new product in my old sofa. I love it…. I am pleased with the purchase. My cat leaves the sofa alone now. Before, nothing I tried to get her to stop worked. I like that it's clear so visitors don't see it. Transparent and invisible. It’s very easy to install, and I didn’t even need to put the twist pins, because the sheet was added, fast and very well on the fabric. Great product !!!!. My cat stopped attacking my sofa immediately. They do an excellent job. It is the best protection than I ever have for my sofa. I will be very happy to buy a new sofa and install this product. And thank you for the toy she loves it.I would like to have circular sheets for furniture of that style. This product is for people who want to solve a big problem quickly with a high quality and durable product.Yes! I would recommend this product to a friends.

More adhesion would be nice, but overall, product does work
Good product except they could be more adhesive.I still use mine, but I keep having to smooth them back over whatever surface I am using them on because they start coming off on their own.Good thickness, no kitty claw has pierced, punctured, or penetrated. They have worked well enough, and my cats have started to respect the areas I have put them on, as not being for kitty paws so technically it has worked.

Half the papers did not have the plastic vinal applied on the paper.
As far as keeping cat claws from ruining the furniture it works. The problem arises that you can't separate the vinal from the backing paper. Some of the paper didn't have the vinal applied to it. It is not worth the money if you can't use all of it that you pay for.

My new furniture is saved from my kitty.
These are fantastic. Especially for a couch. I had a recliner too and wished I had ordered two packages. I had to cut some in order to fir the recliner. They're not sticking well because of my handling them to place the properly. The little button screws help a lot. They don't leave any visible holes. I had to use a lot of them (my fault) for the recliner from having to cut the adhesive to fit the corners. Just one big sheet on all 4 sides would have worked so much easier. Now I know and hope you can learn from my mistake if you want to cover a couch and a chair. Highly recommend though!

Não gostei
É um contact grosso e ainda precisa furar o móvel para fixar o protetor. Nota zero.
