Shonaya Women's Party Wear Printed Latest Saree Sari

This saree was awesome. I wore this for an engagement celebration the night before the wedding celebration. I got lots of compliments. The print was cool. Material was great and not too hot. Didn't wrinkle too easily (wore it right out of the package without having to steam it out or anything). A few notes... Not necessarily negatives, but just so you know what to expect: 1.) It does not come with instructions. YouTube (and safety pins!) are your friend. 2.) It does not come with the actual blouse. It comes with material to sew your own blouse. The extra material is actually attached to the end of the saree. Literally a big square of matching material with no pattern for creating the blouse. I cut it off but did not use it (in the pic, I'm wearing a gold ready-made blouse I bought from an Indian clothing store for $25, to give you an idea). 3.) It does not come with a petticoat (underskirt). You definitely do need the underskirt because the saree gets wrapped around, tucked into, and pinned to it. (Generally, petticoat color should match the bottom part of the saree as close as possible. There are some available on Amazon but I wound up buying one in store as well to be sure I was getting a close color match (cost me $15 for a drawstring petticoat). 4.) The material is sheer. I am uncomfortable showing my belly ever since I've had kids and had real concerns. But, you can drape it in a way so that your belly is covered and, although the material is sheer, you could not see through it between the pattern on the material and the way in which it was draped (and pinned to stay covered) with pleats (again, check out YouTube vids on how to drape and pleat). 5.) Since this is a half and half saree that separated the two looks with one straight seem, I did have a difficult time while draping it so that the seam didn't look real weird in the back. That was my biggest challenge and had to play with it for awhile.Although most of my details seem like negatives, this saree was awesome, ESPECIALLY for the price. I bought another saree for the next night in-store and, although it was a different material and had more fancy detail, it ran me $150 (not including blouse or petticoat). Some are more expensive, some less, all depending on material and detail. Just so you have a comparison (sharing what I've learned, as this was my first saree/Indian wedding experience). Definitely loved the saree and the price, quick prime delivery. Would absolutely recommend.*second pic is the bottom border since that was cut off in the first full pic

I am from India and was looking for a last minute sari to buy for Diwali. Unfortunately due to time constraints I couldn't go to the stores in Edison, NJ. After doing a online search I decided to check if Amazon sells saris and can deliver in 2 days. Lo and Behold Amazon not only sold but can deliver in two days. The reason I picked this sari was not only did the sari looked pretty but I must thank the other reviewers who added the pictures of the saris. I was presently surprised when I received the sari. Not only was the sari looked like the picture but it is overall beautiful with material and detail work. I received a lot of compliments. The color of the sari is more coral pink with navy blue. This is two color sari, it does come with a blouse piece which has to be stitched by a seamstress, or you can purchase a readymade blouse. And most important it doesn't come with an underskirt which you will have buy.

This saree is absolutely beautiful and will make you feel like a million bucks. I ordered a satin silk petticoat separately in a coral/pink color which was the perfect. The crop top, I ordered in navy blue. Do yourself a favor and find videos to help you understand how to wear this saree properly. Practice practice practice before the day of your event. You don't want to be late because you're having a hard time draping and pleating it! Get safety pins. Put your heels on first. And be patient! Getting it right is better than getting it wrong :)

Beautiful!!! Wore it to Indian events with such nice compliments. Wore my own top and legging but using a belt or string for tucking would be better.

Even though I tried Prime membership it came after 4 days :(. when I called they say some other customer must have ordered at same time and that's why your order was not fulfilled on time.The product was not same as in photo,1. they have attached an extra piece to saree as if it was small and added extra piece, it was on inner side so it was OK.2. the color was Red instead of that beautiful pink (photo attached),3. the flower on the pallu was missing.4. the over all impression of Saree was cheap. the Saree looks good in Photos but in real the material seems cheap.May be I might have received the faulty piece (as they have said the one I ordered went to another customer). As I needed the Saree for party I wear it as I had no option, if I would have not wear it I would have returned it.

Ordered this on accident with the one click! I think it tracked my google activity and suggested this to me. I have no idea what I will do with it, but my family is African and we have similar traditional wear. Maybe I will wear it to my next African Party! Or any party. It is gorgeous! Be aware that the top is not stitched so it can fit anyone, but you will have to figure that part out or send it to a seamstress who knows how.

Absolutely stunning! Have to admit I was very skeptical about buying sari from amazon but an amazing experience it was. I got so many complaints. Its exactly as described,I had the blouse stitched from the provided fabric with the sari it came out perfect.

Awesome saree and material for the price, cannot be beat. Wife yet to wear it to a party but she loved it, I loved it on her too :)
