I've found myself neglecting our hardwood floors lately as it had become such a chore to clean them. As a more mature lady, the effort of cleaning them correctly had become a bit difficult. I figured there had to be a better way so of course I turned to Amazon to find a solution and there are plenty of options. Since all I really needed was something to help me mop the floors, I chose this spin mop. And I although I've only used it once, it makes cleaning my floors so much easier.The mop arrived promptly, it was easy to put together and simple to use.Since I plan on using the mop for both my wood and tile floors, I chose to not use the included spray attachment. I got the pads wet like the instructions said, and use my spray bottle of cleaner. I rinsed the pads I hot water after cleaning each area ( hallway, dining room, kitchen etc) The mop worked great and I could tell it was pulling up dirt.The only problem I had, was getting the pads placed back on the unit evenly, if you don't...they cause the unit to be off balance and it makes the mop wobble and not clean evenly.Other then that, I love the mop and believe that it will do exactly what I was looking for.

I need to explain the reason for the overall 4 rating. I received the Elicto and that machine was d.o.a., wouldn't turn on, no lights, no nothing, and only had 1 set of pads instead of 2. Elicto Customer service, Sam Kang, was very helpful, quickly determined that a replacement unit was needed and I received a tracking number for the replacement unit within a couple of hours. The new unit just arrived and included a UPS return label for the previous unit. This unit is all I hoped it would be, light weight, and easy to use. Instructions could be better, the cord could be longer, but overall am very happy with how it works. I have several types of hard surface flooring, today I did my tile floors, I got them done much quicker, I don't have an aching back from lugging around a bucket/wringing a mop and the floors dried very quickly as you don't put as much water down to get it clean.

I put the Spin Mop together as soon as I received it, I just couldn't wait to try it out after years of scrubbing on my hands & knees. I bought some scrubby pads to try out on my kitchen & breakfast area linoleum. It did a wonderful job. We use this as a main entrance from the farm & I like to keep it looking good. Water & vinegar give it a nice cleanup & I finished with the soft pads that came with it.

After reading a reply to my previous review, I changed the batteries in the handle as suggested. The spin mop works as it has before. :-)I purchased this spin mop in February 2019, and it has already stopped working properly. At first, it would just stop spinning. Now it doesn't even turn on. For the first few months, it worked great. I decided to wait before writing a review to see how it performed after six months. It didn't last...

Well I didn’t want to give a review until I have have put this through enough testing to be useful. I must say, I was skeptical in the beginning, because I am so used to washing my floors on my hands and knees. I really didn’t think I would be able to find something that could compete. Well, I am happy to say that if this product continues to preform the way in which has been, I will be sold on it! Now it hasn’t reduced the time in which it takes me to normally wash my floor, which I really didn’t expect to. I treat the machine just like I would if I were on my knees. For example, I found that starting out with wet pads, as I do with my wet rag on my knees, and then stopping periodically to rinse out the pads and continue as normal, cleans my floor perfectly! Then I use a second set of pads to rinse the floor, and follow up with a third set of pads to dry and buff the floor. It saves my knees, is quiet, lightweight and enjoyable to use.I chose the corded option and am so glad that I did! I don’t have to worry about running out of charge in the middle of my job. And the cord is adequately long enough to get the job done.

So I am not sure why I did not buy something like this sooner. I live in a sandy part of FL and have multiple cats and a German shepherd. So I do my floors every day. A chore that was taking an hour per day. I bought the super sweeper broom to go with this cleaner. I did a lot of research on both products and read all of the reviews. I take my super sweeper first and go over my floors to pick up the sand and fur. I have a 1900 square foot house and that process takes 5 minutes. I got this machine in and it took me 5 minutes to assemble. My floors were squeaky clean in 15 minutes. 15 + 5 is 20 minutes total rather than an hour. There were stains on my floors I didn't even know were there. No buckets no leaning into a mop. Unbelievably easy clean up. Just take the pads off rinse and you are ready for next time. My floors are sparkling. I am going to buy the pair now for my daughter..

I've owned this for 1.5 years. The first year, it worked great. Used it 2x/month and it did a great job cleaning. After owning it for a year, it started having electrical issues - would turn on but not rotate or spray the solution. I called and they informed me there was a battery in the handle and it likely needed changing. So I did that, and it got worse. Now, it won't even turn on and function. Product should last longer than 24-30 uses.Update: I took the mop apart and found the inside corroded. Poor design.

This is a very handy mop. I already had the non corded one and actually thought I was adding a second one, but ordered the corded one by mistake. My only complaint is that the cord could be much longer. (I have a steam mop and that cord is much longer and it makes it much easier to do whole living area without replugging it) It is very easy to assemble and to use.

Failed in first week Returned. Waiting for refund.
