Im a paramedic and purchased this as a stand-in after I misplaced my Littmann Classic II SE. I had already purchased a Classic III but was worried it wouldn't arrive in time for my next run of shifts so picked this up with prime delivery. So far I haven't tried this in the field but using it on house mates I can say that the acoustics are absolutely fantastic. Lung sounds are amplified and I can hear clearly even through clothing. Compared to my old Classic II and new Classic III this steth is a huge cut above the rest. I can only see one downside which is the size and weight - this will not fit into my pocket and may need to live in my obs kit. I will update this review after using it in the field.

I bought this product for a paramedic who tells me it is very robust, good quality and has excellent acoustics all essential for working in the field.

I've no idea how this compares with a 'like for like' on equivalent specification with Littmann but on a price-to-price comparison it appears *much* better. Below is a simple good/bad comparison to my previous steth (a Littman Classic III).Bad: - Heavier - Much stiffer tubing (although it seems like it's angled at the right angle for typical bedside examination)(Not as many colour options?!)Good: - *Much* better sound quality - which surely must be the overriding factor - (Apparently) lifetime free replacement of parts (and some spares already supplied) - Softer earpieces with multiple size options - definitely a very important factor when you're using it every day a lot.(I am a junior doctor working mostly in medicine.)

Hoping to add a bit of glitter to the day after COVID. Solid steth and well made, loved the idea of replacement parts for life, but so heavy and the tubing was very stiff, I sent it back. Glitter is iridescent.

Great stethoscope! I purchased this to replace an old Litmann stethoscope that had gone missing on a ward. To buy the same Litmann again would have been similar in price. The sound quality on this is far superior. I'm glad I went with the MDF!

Well worth the money, highly recommend upgraded and the best thing I ever done clear and easy to use especially on these old ears makes my job a lot easier stat buy

Sound quality very bad, not worthy the money. Good as a gift for a child but for medical purposes not fit in my opinion. Cheaper than littmann but due to bad sound it now costs me more as need to still buy a littmann

I love my stethoscope and the design is amazing I get so many compliments on it and the sound quality is top notch I think I found my new favorite brand🩷🩷🩷

Little heavier than last MDF

I’ve tried two different Littman 3M stethoscopes and three different MDF stethoscopes. I settled for this one…the quality and acoustics are EXCELLENT- and it’s light weight; also a little longer than a Littman, which I prefer …My professor tried it and said that there was no different between this and a Littman- and he’s a Littman fan boy! He was also in cardiac rehab for over 40 years! I believe Littman is overrated…MDF, parts for life. I know what I’m choosing every time. You won’t be disappointed! I used this during lab and plan on using it for my clinical rotations. This is an Mprint Poseidon procardial titanium cardiology stethoscope…sexy as hell!

Stethoscope tubing has become blue/black from color transfer from wearing around my neck and rubbing against my scrubs. No amount of cleaning of the tubing will remove this stain. Additionally, the bell is beginning to tarnish.
