Great clean look, just like the photos

Used this mount for a whitetail dear skull. Instructions were very descriptive and assembly was simple. As implied in the instructions, the finish scratches very easily. I would definitely use this product again in the future and maybe add a coat or two of polyurethane to the mounting surface.

Nice thick "real" wood. Easy to assemble all hardware was included, finally I'm able to hang my skull.

I thought the homemade mount I got a few years ago for another one of my European mounts looks better because it has a higher angle when used on a tabletop / shelf. The rise and angle of the The Taxidermists Woodshop Solid Oak European pedestal piece is pretty low for a tabletop. I think they should have had 2 different pedestal pieces to choose for wall or tabletop. See included picture. The mount on the left is the Taxidermists Woodshop Solid Oak European Mount.

This was my first European mount that I've done myself. It looks sharp! The directions were easy to follow, and it took me about 15 minutes start to finish. You'll need a drill to drill a hole through the wood and through the skull. Other than that, you're only a few turns of a phillips screwdriver away from having your European deer mount on the wall or rotated 180 degrees and placed on a tabletop. Nice looking and sturdy wood. Well worth the price :) I'll be a return customer!

I ordered 3 oak plaques to mount my european mounts on and I was completely satisfied with the products. They were delivered on time and were good quality. All hardware was there and instructions were easy to follow. My package was a bit damaged on arrival but that is no fault of the shipper. No damage to products though. I will use this company again in the future. Thanks.
