Organic Acne & Blemish Treatment Powder, 1.0 ounce

First off I did not get this free nor have I been influenced by the seller in any way, shape, or form. I found this product while looking for a good setting powder that was organic and natural. When I saw it advertised, I had to have a look cuz I loved the idea of being able to wear a powder on my face at night. I have combination skin and I need to moisturize after cleansing or my face feels too tight. (And if you're wondering what cleanser I use, it's Vanicream which is supposed to not leave your face dry.) I despise the tacky feel of moisturization though I am well used to it. I use an oil free moisture lotion (La Roche-Posay) at night and an oil free facial sunscreen (EltaMD Clear SPF46 during the day. In addition, I use JJ Labs Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid Serum 1-2X/day after cleansing. I may also add Snail Serum though it's debatable to me whether it is helping or not (I read that the companies that sell it on Amazon went from selling pure snail secretions to a watered down version of the same). The order I use 2X/day is 1)vit c 2) snail (or not) 3) either lotion or sunscreen 4) this powder put on with a soft makeup brush. I read that it should be used alone at night, but I've read several reviews that it won't stick. I never even tried it that way anyway. I used my usual routine just adding the powder at the end.My impressions so far:1) It makes my face feel very smooth and soft-this is noticeable in the am and after wearing it for a while in day time2) It has slowly reduced my plugged pores (I can't speak to acne, after all I am old)3) I don't look oily in my t-zone though if I blot with a blotting paper, I'll see oil at end of day, but not in the am4) It tones down my face significantly (I blush/get red very easily),and I like the whiteness of it as I am fair skinned. It is possible to buff the white away though.5) I LOVE the lack of greasy shine at night. I wear it during the day too. I often use it in place of makeup powders or liquids when I'm just at home.I'm hoping for a further reduction in plugged pores and any other improvements would be welcome too. Hope this has helped someone. Oh I've been using the powder for almost 2 weeks.

I like it... and it doesnt accumulate bacteria because the ingredients. Only lost a star because I have to apply 2-3 layers to make it last

I don't know how people are getting this to stay on their face. I've been putting on a normal moisturizer and then using a powder brush to put this on, but it seems like I get more on the bathroom counter than on my face. I have to go over the same spot two-three times before I can feel like it is sticking. Once there, it is better than any of the heavy creams that are usually recommended. If someone has a trick to getting it to stay on their face, then this would probably be really good.

When I first saw the claim that you can put this powder on your face at night and it would help reduce acne I was very intrigued. I never heard of a powder doing that, but I thought if it's true that would be great instead of going to bed with a glob of acne medicine on your face.I have 2 tiny pimples on my face now....nothing major so I thought it was the perfect time to put this to the test. I applied it to a clean face the first night using a makeup brush. Next morning.... pimples still there; still the same size.I decided to give it another try.Second night, I applied it to a clean face using a makeup brush. Next morning...pimples still there; still the same size. So my conclusion is this stuff does not work like they say it will. Keep in mind these were tiny, teeny, baby pimples.The other claim is that it can be used as a setting powder so I decided to try that. Here it did a decent job, but the jar is so small that it makes absolutely no sense to purchase this for that when there are other setting powders that come in bigger containers.The other thing I want to mention about this is both times I used it I found the powder is so very fine that with normal breathing I found myself breathing in the powder which is never good. I had to hold my breath as I applied it around my nose.There is just no benefit I see in this product therefore I cannot recommend it.

This acne powder is phenomenal. It clears up trouble spots quickly and naturally. Easy to apply with a brush and a great value for such an effective product! Highly recommend!

Does it job however not the best I've tried.

I have been using zink oxide for quite a while in cream form, because it really helps calm my acne prone skin. Occasionally I put my white face on before bedtime, but I never liked that sticky feel to it, so I was very glad to find this product which can be applied to your regular moisturizer and is in a dry form. BUT, I did not think it worked as well as my cream, I seem not to be able to get the right amount on my skin. I tried to apply it with a powder brush on top of my moisturizer, but it did not seem to catch really well... so I ended up making so much mess. I'm not sure how good it is for my lungs to breath in all that powder... just a thought... not sure if I am going to continue to use it.
