Awning Aluminum KIT Brown 46" Wide X 36" Droop X 15" Sides High Window Front Door Patio

It is a bit more flimsy at first than I expected but once assembled it is sturdy. It only weighs a few pounds, if that, and the aluminum is so thin it feels more like acrylic sheeting. That having been said, it assembles very quickly and easily and is a quick install if it is going on a flat surface. Mine had to go over some trim under the soffit that also had mini-split lineset ducting on top of that. Needless to say, the modification took a while. The aluminum cuts easily with tin snips and the square brace piping is easy to cut with an electric multitool. I had to relocate the top brace across the back of the awning about 6 inches down to accommodate the lineset but it was very sturdy. It looks great and the paint(anodized maybe?) is very glossy without looking cheesy.

I was very skeptical ordering an awning through Amazon. My husband kept insisting to go to our local home improvement store. My fear was the prices were too good to be true here, compared to the local stores. I ordered anyway, a week later we couldn't be happier! The awning size fit perfectly, the kit was super easy to assemble. The quality was so much better than those found at the local stores! Definitely would recommend this brand!

Best price - decent quality. Sides are made upside down - see pics on Amazon page! Includes all hardware screws & anchors, a hex screw tool and a drill bit for mounting the assembled awning onto house, but it's missing a 1/16" bit for drilling holes into the white frames. (colored metal is pre-drilled but not frame). Print several larger pics on page to understand assembly. Instruction diagram is little help. Use 2 people to install, NOT in high winds.
