Love. Exactly what I wanted. It doesn’t feel expensive however it does look it and can be dressed up nicely. Not see through at all. Wish I was able to have it in black in my size but it’s sold out!

This Thong Bodysuit from Velvet Rope is destined to become a mainstay in my wardrobe.The fabric is a 96% polyester and 4% spandex knit. It has a matte finish and is thin and lightweight without being sheer at all. The fabric has a lot of crosswise stretch but almost no lengthwise stretch so it's good for larger busted women but not so good for women with a long torso. If you have a long torso, you may need an extender at the crotch.This is a thong style bodysuit so no panty lines from behind. It features a two snap crotch opening and the snaps are metal so they won't break easily. Along the sides of the thong area is encased elastic for a comfortable fit.The design features a demi-funnel neck and shoulders that extend to form a cap sleeve. It's a wonderful foil for a statement necklace. This is a classic, form fitting look without being too tight. Because the neckline is modest, it's perfectly appropriate for business. It's a versatile accompaniment to a suit or dressy slacks or skirt and it would even look great with jeans and a casual cardigan or blazer. It's one of those pieces that goes with practically everything and is a great wardrobe extender.

I was really happy to review this, as I love thong-leotard shirts, as they make my life easier at work...I'm a big "tuck in your shirt" person.This fabric is really heavy for this sort of shirt. On top of it, it's VERY shiny and polyester-looking. Flash back to the 70s. This made me never choose to go grab it as a first (or second, or third) choice.The bodice is short, which doesn't work well for my long torso (I am long-waisted, 5'9").It's just not my favorite. If you like shiny heavy fabric, and have a shorter torso, you will likely like this.The stitching is great. It's very sturdy. But the style and fabric make me make this a back-of-the-closet piece.

It has been a long time since I have worn a bodysuit. I think the last time was when I was a little girl in gymnastics. Which I know is not really the same but that is kind of what wearing this suit made me feel like. The first time I tried it on, I went from the top and it was a bit hard with it stretching. The second time I tried it from the bottom with the snap closure opening, which worked better.If you are not a fan of tong style underwear, you may not like this. It has a high upper cut, yet it was surprisingly comfortable. It is nit see through and you can move around in it. A nice top. Yet, my biggest disappointment is that it is not made well. There was a lot of stitching that was already loose or had come undone on the top neck part. So it would not hold that owl neck shape and if you don't stitch, it may not be worth getting it done by someone else.

My wife was a little disappointed by this piece. She's thin/athletic but also tall (5'11"). She knew getting a small would be a gamble. The top fits well with room to stretch, but there isn't enough give vertically for it to fit her comfortably. She is usually fine with thong cuts, but without any give, it was immediately uncomfortable. The fabric was also very cheap and feels cheap. It is reminiscent of a child's leotard with the cheap sheen to it. Another reviewer mentioned it is matte, it definitely is not! Overall, my wife is very disappointed. I think this is going to sit in my closet without ever being worn.
