Sapori Traditional Panforte di Siena - 12.35 oz.

I have been to Tuscany and Siena many times. I also make Panforte at home around the holidays. Panforte is something I know well. This particular style is Panforte Margharita, a blonde form of Panforte often called Panforte Bianco. It is absence of chocolate or cocoa which gives it a lighter and brighter flavor. This is a very good value Panforte. The price is excellent for the size. It is covered with a large amount of powered sugar. The bottom is edible paper and the disc is surrounded by paper which has to be peeled off. It is completely sealed so you will have to use a pair of scissors to open it. The flavor and texture are both completely right and delicious. It is very much authentic like you would have in Siena, the home of Panforte. This is the best deal I know for Panforte in the U.S.

We enjoyed panforte on a dream trip to Italy six years ago. This Sapori Panforte is so close to what we ate in a Siena bakery, it brings back wonderful memories. It's a tad expensive, but delicious.

My new favorite fruit cake. I'm probably one of the small number of people who actually enjoys fruit cake. This was even better than the ones I've eaten here in the U.S.A. Of course, the quality of the ingredients is important, and this definitely demonstrates quality. Only thing, eat only small portions of it at a time with a cup of coffee or tea. It's a food to savor slowly with friends and family. Definitely, a crowd pleaser.

I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS FAVORITE DISH OF MINE THAT I DISCOVERED IN ITALY THAT YOU CAN EAT WITH TEA AND COFFEE WITH YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS DURING THE DAY AS A HEALTHY SNACK. I BELIEVE THAT "PANFORTE" MEANS BREAD OF STRENGTH. THIS ONE IS NOT BREAD BUT MUCH LIKE A A HEARTY HONEY AND NUTS CHEW BAR...THAT IS A ROUND TART. Not what I hoped for

This seller is superb! Product is absolutely delicious as one might bring home from Tuscany itself. I was skeptical, but yummy! Citrus & tons of almonds. Italian fruit cake... what could be better at holidays or anytime? This seller is recommended.

Very good panforte for the price. however, wanted to have more different fruit flavor. but overall it was a very good productWill buy it again next Christmas.

What can I say? I'm a fruitcake lover! This product is awesome. Although it's publicly cool to express your disdain for fruitcake, I know that there are lots of closeted fruitcake lovers out there. If this describes you, order one of these bad boys. You won't be sorry! Oh, and they keep indefinitely in the refrigerator as well!
