A worthy sequel
Will she really ever quit being a sleuth? Only when pigs fly. Aspen can't ever ignore things when friends are in trouble. The only complaint is how could sponsors of the Miss Teen contest allow someone with a criminal record to be in charge. That's too easy to find on the internet. I want a new series with her and Rand leading up to their wedding day. A grown-up Aspen entering the adult world and realizing what is really important would be a thing of beauty.

A YA Las Vegas Mystery Book with Aspen Brooks of course!
Aspen Brooks is in Las Vegas for Spring Break, but nothing is going the way she had imagined. Not only does she suddenly becomes Miss Illinois in a teen beauty pageant, but she has to dance too! And the pageant will be televised! What has Aspen Brooks/detective-in-training gotten herself into this time? A cute mystery story with many surprising twists for YA readers. *Please note: Some mid-level language and actions found in the book.*

Aspen strikes again!
Aspen, Rand, Angel, and Lucas are going to Vegas for a relaxing Spring Break. When they get to Vegas, they realize that the Miss Teen Queen beauty pageant is being held at their hotel. Of course, Miss Illinois goes missing and Aspen just has to take her place in the pageant, and sovle the case!Another funny tale of Aspen solving crime. This one kind of reminded me of Miss Congeniality!

Great!
Read the first book and just had to read all three! Interesting books...unexpectedly liked them. Decent books with good plots. I wasn't able to guess the ends until close to finishing the books.

Aspen Brooks
The Aspen Brooks trilogy makes for some fun, light reading. Perfect for spring break or summer days by the pool.

Love it!
This book is extremely good! It is well written, and has a very good plot. How ever, this is definitely not appropriate for younger kids, but, it's ok for 13 and up, I highly recommend this book for all of you interested in it or by the author.

Loved the book, but sad to see the series end!
Since this seems to be the last book in the Aspen Brooks series, I was sad to read it. The plot wasn't as interesting as the previous books and the sluething wasn't upto Aspen Brooks' standards, but overall it was a light fun read.
