I should have read the description better, I thought they were painted black since I was searching amazon for black shelf braces and these showed up in the list and they look black in the pictures.

Very sturdy and attractive brackets. Used them along with a piece of scrap wood to elevate my computer monitors.

These brackets just arrived today, and I am so happy with sturdy they are! Excellent price for the quality. I purchased these for my sons room to add some vertical storage. I love the industrial look of these brackets, I will be purchasing more in the future!

The vendor put as much effort and craftsmanship into the product description as they did the product. I needed very sturdy brackets in a hurry and these are very sturdy and arrived quickly. A "customer" (Jas, Dec 22, 2018) said they come in cool packaging and gave this product 5 stars. Turns out the vendor liked Jas' picture of these brackets installed so much they use it in their ads. I'm sure that's totally legit. I guess the product description lead me to expect more than a couple of unfinished shelf brackets in a generic cardboard box. Once I had time to do a basic internet search I found very, very similar brackets, also made in USA, for 40% less. Caveat emptor.

Great product that comes in cool packaging. Super easy to use and seem strong enough to hold a lot of weight. Already have mine all set up!

Easy to install and very heavy-duty. We installed them in studs for even more sturdiness.
