Works fine; sticky, and conductive!
When you need to tape something, and you also need that tape to conduct electricity on both sides and through the tape itself, Kapton Tape comes through for you. Granted, there are not many situations where that is the case; but they do arise, and when you come across one, nothing else will do. I used this in conjunction with some wider copper tape to isolate the inside of my electric guitar from interference, and IT WORKED. It now no longer buzzes and hums like it used to!I would buy a thicker width if I was shielding another guitar; 1/4" turned out to be a bit too narrow for that application, but that's not the tape's fault. It sticks well and conducts well.Be aware that the edges of the tape are pretty sharp. You can easily cut yourself with this if you're not careful.

Great product for paper circuit projects
The media could not be loaded. I used this for a summer science program making light-up Father’s Day cards with kids. The copper tape worked well with other components for conducting current and each person’s card lit up! Note: Younger kids may need assistance removing the adhesive backing and placing the tape.

I used this tape for 12v application and it works fine. the only thing about using the tape is it is very curly when unwinding and it breaks very easy but solder adheres great with it.

Good for soldering. Product arrived as described.
Copper tape in general is great. I've been taping this onto 3d-printed plastic parts and then soldering electronic components onto the tape. If the plastic has time to melt while soldering, the copper adheres to the plastic a little better. (fyi, using plastic as a soldering board is a terrible idea). Note that the tape is rated to 155F, so it will lose adhesion under high temperatures. Occasionally while soldering, in fact, the copper does seem to come off the plastic. I'm not sure how well the adhesion will hold up over time. I'll try this etching this tape to make real (low temperature) circuit boards soon and will hopefully report results here.

Great for EL wire.
Bought this to use when soldering EL wire for a project I was working on. I was very happy with the results. Adheres well and solders well. The price was also very nice considering that other places charge a significant amount more for less. The size is also convienent for soldering and use with EL wire. My only complaint (that isn't really the provider's fault) is that the coil comes unbound easily. I fixed this by applying solder brackets to the roll, to keep the tape in line with itself.

Not just for paper circuits
I chose this based on another teacher's posting of his supply list for paper circuits. This worked great and I have a sample in my bag that I am constantly showing to colleagues. An easy, hands-on way to talk about circuits. And to create Art. And to practice teamwork, persistence, and creativity. (One thing I learned: the adhesive can block conductivity. This was a great learning/teaching moment so I am NOT sharing to steer you away from this product.)

Works great as speaker wire.
I used this in my apartment living room to make ghost wires for my surround speakers. It works perfectly for my application. The adhesive is not bad and you can solder to it with no issues at all. The tape is also conductive through the adhesive, which works great for easily making connections. Just what I needed.

Don't expect it to keep snails away. Wear gloves when using it.
I rated this as 3 star because it didn't do what I bought it for but it never claimed to.I bought it to put around my plants to keep snails away but they simply ignored it and kept snacking on my lillies. However the product itself never claimed to keep snails away.Additionally, make sure you wear gloves when working with this tape. The wdges are sharp and cut my fingertips up before I even realized that it had happened.
