Purchased this for my mother and she loves the way it looks. Compared to another similar tree she has, it is much nicer and clean-looking. She makes sure it is lit every night using the timer feature The only drawback to the product is battery life. It kills batteries very quickly... I have tried long-life lithium AA batteries, high- current rechargeable AAs and regular ones. With the timer setting, the most you can get is 1 - 2 weeks of battery life before the lights become very dim. With the rechargeable batteries this would be ok if you didn't have to unscrew the battery cover on the bottom (2 screws) to change them every time. Unfortunately there is no way to keep this cover on without the screws.Despite the battery issue, my mother loves this tree so I am still giving it a 4-star rating.
