Percy Jackson Done Right
I'm a huge fan of the Rick Riordan books and not even addressing the movie tragedies that are supposedly of the Percy Jackson realm, I was extremely skeptical of this album. How in the world were these books going to be translated into an album, much less a full scale musical? I don't know how they did it, but they did it.This album is comprised of songs that capture the funny, whimsical, and epic nature of the books. Even songs that I wasn't all that fond of as I listened to the samples and then later the full soundtrack have grown on me and become favorites. I love that each of the trio gets their own song. Good Kid, My Grand Plan, and The Tree on the Hill are all integral to this album, helping even the newest demi gods, I mean. . . . listeners, understand these characters and their backgrounds.Can't wait to see this show live!!

Percy Jackson Musical
I just received this last night and have listened to it a couple of times so far. I am really enjoying it. The songs are a lot of fun and seem to really capture the characters and do a good job telling the story. It was fun to hear the various characters pop up as the soundtrack progressed. As an added bonus, there was a reference to one of my favorite jokes that doesn't appear until a later book, so that was a pleasant and unexpected surprise.If you are a fan of the books, I think you will really enjoy this soundtrack as a new way to experience the story. And if you are new to the story, I think you will enjoy it anyway. Everything is presented in a way that you don't need a lot of background about the story to understand it.Really makes me wish there was a way I could actually see the show.

Ahhh-MAZING! My boys (10 & 6) looooved the musical when it came for a brief stint and now constantly rock out to: “...Your goose is cooked and IIIIIII’mmm gonna COOK IT!”Obvi 5 outta 5 stars for any Camp Half-Blood fans.

Love this rock score
A Rocking good score and fun lyrics. Missed seeing the show but from the score it should be fun. Waiting for local theaters to do it here in town. Sooner or later someone will do it. Off-Broadway CD's rarely sound this good. Terrific cast with powerful voices. It you liked the movie as much as I do, you will love the CD.

Blue and Yellow Records!
My daughter was thrilled when she opened this record... it is a double record. One is blue and one is yellow, which is fun! Lots of nice pictures inside the album jacket.

Demigod
3 minutes song and is already more faithful to the books than the horribles movies. Very original musical with nice, catchy songs. If you are a Percy Jackson fan and a musical fan, you will like this one.
