Detailed Carousel Horse Cookie Cutter-One Piece Only

Used to decorate carousel cake

It's so detailed, the hooves and pole are between 1/8" and 1/4" wide. Every single one broke when I lifted the cutter from the dough or transferred it from cutting surface to baking sheet. I had to manually reattach it before baking and hope it didn't break when taking cookies off the cookie sheet. I returned it.

Cute design but very difficult to get out of cutter. Finally used cooking spray on the feet and bottom pole portion.

Pros. This is the prettiest cookie cutter I've seen in a while and so detailed. I love it!Cons. It's plastic but it is nice heavy plastic with a little give to it. It has tiny cut lines across the entire cutting surface running from front to back inside the cutter which I wonder if this is the reason so many people are having difficulty getting their dough to slip off the cutter and breaking the legs off this horse and pole. Kind of looks like a precision laser cut process to me. Ok having said this I still like this cookie cutter. It's larger than I imagined it would be but just enough to make decorating them easier. Pros. It's a nice size for decorating cakes as well as cookies. I would suggest you chill your dough well before cutting cookies and maybe even slightly flour the surface of your dough after you roll it and or lightly spray the inside of your cutter with a little oil then wipe leaving only a thin film on the cutter inside to help with the release.

Adorable detailed cutter but totally a pain in the butt to use. Took so long to get one cookie out. Got frustrated and went a different route and am returning this. Dough also got stuck in two crevices which was really annoying.

I found it difficult to use. Too many small nooks and crannies for dough to get stuck in. Waa forever having to pick out and try to paste to the what did come out.Also put in dishwasher with other cookie cutters as I usually do. It came out warped. Had to toss.
