These are so good in top of a scoop of vanilla ice cream with honey or caramel drizzled over.

I have had these many times before, and I was thrilled to see that amazon had them so I can share them with my loved ones. Both my brother and my uncle who are bourbon drinkers loved tasting the bourbon chocolates. Woodford never disappoints. Always delicious, especially when paired with the bourbon. It is well worth it.

I read the reviews before I purchased and I was thinking…surely they have fixed the problem and are sending out fresh candy. They are not! Please don’t waste your money, these are going in the trash! I will never purchase from Woodward Reserve again. Very disappointed, old, stale candy probably leftover from a year or two. The middle two photos are from RR bourbon balls., that’s what they are supposed to look like. What a difference in quality and taste! The second and third photos are RR candy the first and forth are Woodward. They know you can’t return them, so they keep sending out old out dated candy.

This has a light bourbon flavor. The box it comes in is giftable. Once opened it has a nice feel to it for looks. I found it too sweet for my taste but many people probably prefer that. Not a strong taste of chocolate. It's almost like a soft, sugar maple type of texture. The nut on top helps waylay some of that sweetness. Is it comparable to Maker's Mark bourbon balls? Not by a long shot unless they changed their recipe...I toured the distillery 10 years ago and never forgot the luscious boozey taste of theirs. I was hoping to find something comparable but this is a distant choice. It is less expensive but the taste for me left me not happy. But u can give this as a gift and not embarrass yourself.

Bought this for someone who loves Woodford Reserve Bourbon and pecans as a birthday present and it went over very well.

Excellent chocolate, BTW... please take note, there are pecans on these candies. Perfect to end the an evening with friends... serve 1 oz of wheated bourbon in a Glencairn whisky glass and 1 candy and everyone goes home happy!!! ENJOY!

I really like putting these Woodford Bourbon Balls on the holiday table. They're high quality, come in an upscale box, and taste amazing. The chocolate is smooth, the pecans fresh and the filling perfect.
