Artisan Outfitters Mens Oasis Batik Cotton Shirt

Arrived as promised. I was disappointed with this shirt for two reasons. In 2016 I had ordered an Artisan “King of the Sea” shirt in 3 XLT. I was impressed with the quality of the fabric and how it was made. It was very generously cut, so I had thought often about buying it in a smaller size. So I bought this latest shirt in 2 XL, since per the sizing chart that should have been a perfect fit. When this latest shirt arrived, I found that the fabric, although still 100% cotton felt very flimsy. Worse yet is that where the original shirt had been generously cut, this latest one is actually snug, and not at all how you would want a shirt to be worn outside of the pants to fit. I should also say that 2XL is my normal size in shirts. So now I am confused! Was the 3XLT shirt cut too large, or the 2XL cut too small? In either case, due the the lesser quality and the confusion over sizing, I am returning this latest shirt and will not reorder another size. Too bad, for I had always been very impressed with the quality of the original Artisan shirt. This latest one seems like it came from a different company by comparison.

I have been a 4x for a long time. I buy 4x shirts on Amazon all the time. This shirt wasn't even close. The only thing 4x were the ridiculously long sleaves. They were actually more like 6x length. I returned this shirt 5 minutes after I received it. It looked fine and the quality was fine. But let's fix the large size issues.

This shirt was a fantastic find! The cut is very appealing, comfortable without being over-sized. I normally have to figure out if I wear a small or medium, and because of the casual nature of the shirt I chose small. The fit is excellent, nicely structured but very comfortable.The colors of the print are beautiful and actually look better in person than on the site. Although the colors are vivid, it really doesn't come off as loud or flashy, but it will definitely get compliments. The fabric is 100% cotton, very soft and breathable. I didn't experience any bleeding of color, and it seems to hold up very well in the wash (note: it's only been laundered a couple of times so far).I love this shirt and would definitely recommend it.

Not quite as large as my old Pierre Cardin shirts, but very close. Since I can no longer find the Pierre Cardin shirts I guess this will have to be my next option. Since these shirts are made to be worn on the outside, (non-tucked) there could be some additional material in the bottom 2-3 button area. The Pierre Cardin shirts can be worn with all buttons closed and the shirt hangs fine. With the Artisan Outfitters the bottom button must be left open for the shirt to hang loose. I was surprised as both shirts are the 2XLT.Love the brilliant color. I am sure it will work fine for my use since I am a senior and not cruising the beaches any longer, ha! ha!.Sarasota, FL

Very nice! But just a little slightly shorter than expected for a large-frame 6'2" man; otherwise it would have been 5 stars. The print was actually nicer than in the photo. The rest of the fit was exactly as expected. It's light, which was expected, but also BREATHABLE, which is very important. Will order again.

My husband really likes all the shirts we have purchased from Artisan Outfitters. This one has bright colors and a unique pattern. The only thing they might consider changing is the length of the sleeves which are a bit long. A wrinkle free finish would also be nice. The hem tends to curl a bit. They do require a light ironing for the pocket and hemline.

Great colors great fit for a 3xlt, need more of these types of designs in the tall ig mans sizes. The shirt & i ave appeared in advertisements for houses sometimes 1/2 page.... repeatedly over the past 6 months. It may be some of my white goatee & beautiful wife but i think it has a lot to do with this specific shirt

I am wearing this shirt for the first time today at work. I have already received several positive comments about it (curiously no one has assumed I am going on tropical holiday) and I find it very comfortable. Additionally it seems to be well made and I expect it will last a good while through regular wear. I am very pleased with the purchase and will likely get one or more additional such shirts.
