I loved these for 9 months and like them still
I have used these pans for about a year. These are my favorite pans I have ever purchased. (Yes, I once purchased a $600 set of pans that I saw demo'd at a garden show and kept them for 5 years, which was about 3 years past their usefulness.) I love the green color, which was a surprise, I was not sold on the color. I bought these to "try" ceramic coated pans and fell in love with these. The flower designs in the cook service and the texture and weight of these are beautiful, not too heavy and not so light they feel cheap. The lids are great as well, with a small vent hole in each. I love the way everything I cook slides right out of the pans. I actually threw out my old pans and only cook with these, and I cook every night. After a year of use, here are a few things I have learned and noticed: The bottom of the pan "burns", meaning they do not stay that wonderful color of green for long. Do not scrub them too hard trying to return them to that beautiful color or you will scrub off the paint. No big deal, just wanted to give all the info.Second, after about 8-9 months of use the slippery surface, that was so easy to clean, I could wipe out with a paper towel to clean is not so slippery anymore. They still cook great and very even, but food sticks more. For reference, I use an electric, glass stove top, which I understand is a little harder to get used to cooking on. I am still trying to get my temps right :) Not sure if this matters at all.In the end, I love the even distribution of heat, I love the aesthetics and I still prefer these pans over any other I have purchased. Given the cost, I will buy a new set when I feel these are used up or food sticks too much. One last thing, for the first 8 months I hand washed these as I do all my dishes, but I have since placed these in the dishwasher and it has not diminished the pan in any way.I just wish they made pots to go with these so I could get rid of my old pots as well.

Love these pans!
I love these pans! They cook evenly, cleaning them is extremely easy, they are great at nonstick (although sometimes my husband would tend to disagree.. sometimes his eggs stick - but not mine!) With certain foods (like eggs), I do still use Watkins Cooking Spray. With foods that I normally would have to use oil or butter, I do not have to use "as much" as the recipe calls for - I typically cut it in half or thirds.Ever since getting these, I no longer use my calphalon pans - and I have the stainless ones, and the non-stick ones. There are only two things that stuck out to me that make me scratch me head... when heating the pans, they turn a different color on the outside - the lime green gets more of a yellow/green; and the outside if something is spilled, it tends to kind of bake into the green and is not as easy to clean off - but it doesn't bother me.Overall, I would highly recommend getting these - you will not be disappointed!! Just do not drop them... the green part of the handle snapped off when it fell of the dish rack on our counter :(

Poorly Constructed Plastic Handles
The ceramic coated cooking surface of this pan is satisfactory but the handles are of a cheap, plastic construction. They trap water, and the green portion easily separates from the black base. The Box these pans come in indicates that they are dishwasher safe and yet the screw which secures the handle to the pan will quickly rust.Update: Not long after ordering these pans, I accidentally dropped one (on a tile floor) while removing it from my dishwasher and the plastic handle completely shattered. Conclusion: It's worth the extra money to purchase ceramic coated frying pans with durable, metal handles. Do not buy Bella Flame pans.

Good but edges scratched
The pans are okay but there are scratches on the edge of both pans. The first set that I received were really scratched and I returned them. They sent out a new set that was better but still a little scratched at the edge. I've decided to keep these but it would have been better if they didn't start out slightly damaged. I will say that the non-stick cooking surface is excellent.

... owned this set for 17 months and it looks great and cooks great while new
I have owned this set for 17 months and it looks great and cooks great while new. However after 4 months the exterior green color started to discolor due to resuming cooking after draining fat ( the fat drips down the exterior side after draining and must be washed not just wiped to prevent the discoloration). After six months, the interior surface failed to completely clean with just a soapy cloth, requiring more aggressive cleaning with a plastic scrubber. It still cooks in a non-sticking fashion but I always coat the interior with cooking oil or margarine beforehand. The pan sits evenly on a coiled electric cooking element which results in even heating and prevents fluids from pooling at one side. All surfaces of the metal pan have a textured surface - slight texture on inside cooking surface, moderate texture on green exterior, and about 1/16th inch milled pattern on the bottom making it difficult to clean the exterior surfaces ( see discoloration mentioned earlier ). The plastic handles are not sturdy enough, particularly on the 12" pan. At one point I dropped the glass lid for the 9.5" pan on a carpeted floor (18-24" drop). The threaded section of the plastic handle on the lid shattered so I called customer service for a replacement. I feel confident that customer service understood I just needed the lid handle but I received a complete 12" frying pan, free of charge. The pan however did not survive shipping, the plastic pan handle was broken in two. I used the 12" pan lid handle to replace my broken 9.5" pan lid handle and called customer service to see if they wanted the pan back. They said to keep the pan and also sent me a replacement 9.5" lid handle, again free of charge.
