I'm sending this back! .. when I pay for something, it should come ready to go out of the box, this piece of junk didn't even have a plug on the end of the cord! ....if it don't come ready to go, it the parts available for another type of hook up .. I don't want it.

Plug and play! This is the real deal. High quality bulbs, housing, transformer, power cords, etc. Buy this system and away you grow!

The media could not be loaded. lights and hung this one up to see which is the brightest and most blue and this one takes the cake. Its very bright in the room and it drowns out the 400w hid, and MarsHydro 1000w LED.Cons: 1000w gets really hot. Ventilation is in order with humidity control. Extra money you’ll spend however i already knew this. This is an open light and you can see the hood is not that great compared to the hydrafarms I use. A better way to reflect is in order so with ceiling and walls finished in Mylar it will be like walking into heaven, so bright. The god light…Pros: for the money it’s better than any LED I’ve seen to date. Don’t get me wrong they have their place but not when you’re running dozens of 1000w lamps.Overall I give this a 2. After a comparable yield i will reassess.Adjusted to a rating of 2.The dimmer switch does nothing here and the external control connectors don’t exist. Basically it’s not as described so if you’re buying do so because you want a hot light, have plenty of ventilation and don’t care that it doesn’t offer the features it states. Lamp is bright although probably not ideal for veg unless it supports a lower wattage bulb which is yet to be known. These lights put off a good 500 degrees Fahrenheit so I wouldn’t recommend using in any space smaller than 12’ x 12’ presuming it has proper ventilation in the room. I’m running 8” duct work and air conditioning to keep room temps under control.Con:You need adequate ventilation to run these lights. Done correctly and it should never exceed 80 ambient.At 48” I am getting 2000 PPFD light at 77 degrees.

The light assembly overall seems to be great although it would have been better if they sent some kind of a lifting system to hook on to whatever and lower the lights and raise them

Works great replaced two 1000 watt leds for just one sunstream and the results are unbelievable.

Works much better then the crap light I bought to get by till this one showed up.

My plants are *thriving* with this light. They are in an open-ish (1 side open) 8' x 8' area in the basement, and this works perfectly. Much better than my old 400W MH.As mentioned, it is quite hot, so probably not the best for a grow tent. But if you have the right spot, this is wonderful.

I have both the SunStream 1000watt double ended HID and CMH lights in a 5x5 tent with 3 marijuana plants. They are hung 23 inches from the canopy. With my Apogee M-500 quantum meter I get a PPFD per meter sq of about 1100 to 1400 over the entire canopy for a DLI of 45 to 60 for a 12 hour period. 60 by the way is Arizona desert clear sky high noon. The Sunstream lights so far have served me well for the two weeks they have been in service. Like anything else made in China U pays your money and use take your chance.

I have bought 3 of these in the last 2 years. They work well, are easy to install and have produced reliable results.All of a sudden on of the ballast had an issue and I wrote the company to inquire about solutions. They quickly established that it was a ballast failure and replaced it within 1 week.Amazing customer service!!! I’d recommend anyone to buy these with the assurance that you’ll be taken care of if something happens.
