I've used Kerdi in the past and just used it again for a recent master bathroom shower floor remodel. The kit and system are easy to use but you have to pay attention to the directions! It works well looks great and is waterproof! I will buy again if needed!

Always use this brand
I always use the Schluter shower system when I do a shower. As a DIY person, I always know that the slope is accurate and the drain waterproof. Just is great for piece of mind.i

Schluter Kerdi Drain Stainless PVC Version
The Schlueter Drain is about the best there is. This particular set is a good value with most of the seals and all parts to complete the drain. Extremely easy to install, simple but about the most effective, completely sealed drain system one can find. Outstanding.

Good quality, installs well but I find that Schluter products are excessively expensive

Good product.
Worked well, not too bad to install. (Inexperienced DIY’er, here.) Toughest part was to make sure subfloor, drain pipe, and drain were all correct height. Otherwise, easy to install. Brushed nickel grate looks good in tiled shower floor.

great product
After perhaps a dozen tile installations, did a whole walk-shower with the Schluter system (except the walls, where I used Durock). Would not even think of doing it any other way.
