Wildharvested Chaga Mushroom Powder (4 oz (1/4 Lb))

I wasn't amazed with it. The product is poorly packaged and I seriously questioned the quality for that reason when it arrived. It seemed a little too "harvested in my backyard" to be trustworthy. But the price is really good. Honestly the best price I've found yet on chaga (anywhere). I pay $5/oz here in town for it at the herb shop. The halite of grinding though... They marketed it like a fine powder and it's not. It's very gritty and doesn't dissolve. You have to simmer the chaga overnight to extract the tannins which is frustrating when all I want is a cup of tea. It takes a good 12 hours to really get the health benefits out of this because of the poor grinding. For the price though... It's kind of a factor of picking your battles. I have a grinder so it's not the worst. I certainly could feel the health benefits from it.

I like chaga and had high hopes for this Wild-Harvested Chaga powder, but this powder is gritty, like fine sand, and tastes awful. Didn't notice any benefits. I tried to strain out the gritty powder from the tea, but none of my tea strainers was able to get enough of the grit to make it sufficiently pleasant to bother with.I much prefer the chaga my brother-in-law was able to gather from trees in the woods and forests in his area. Chunks of it provide a less-gritty tea that both tastes better and provides more noticeable health benefits, for whatever reason. It resolved his diverticulitis symptoms and for me it reduces muscle tension and both of us noted a feeling of well being from it.My local healthfood market also started offering chaga chunks, which appear to be less tasty and beneficial than my brother-in-law's, but still better than the powder. I'll wildly speculate that taste and benefits vary widely between the chagas of different individual trees. Maybe someone more knowledgeable about chaga can fill us in on this.Even with shipping, this product is cheaper than that at the local market, so kudos to the seller for that.

This product is okay but there is definitely better Chaga on the market. This one was either old and not as potent anymore or just poor quality. We won't be buying this product again.

If you don't mind a bit of grit in your drink if you make it too strong to stay in solution at less than scalding temperatures like I do, this is the way to go. I have several cups a day.

Should be a finer grind.

This is my first time drinking Chaga and its a good taste and a good buy for the money. I will probably order again.

This is the real wild chaga not the lab created fake stuff. Great quality. Will order this product again.
