Fragrant citrus, complex flint and nut aromas combine with a distinctive core of mineral, lemon and mealy characters to form a seamless palate. Fine-grained French oak and refined acidity create a tightly woven palate with understated concentration and length. This wine will develop complex mineral and toast like characters with bottle age. It is 100 percent barrel fermented with 50 percent of the blend fermented with indigenous yeasts, providing heaps of character and complexity. Rich melon and peach characters mingle with denser fig and a delicately creamy texture from 14 months ageing in French oak barrels.
