TIVOLY - T-Gun F300 Cartridge Gun - Can be Fitted to Drill and Screw Guns - for Ø 1,96" - 10,48 fl oz cartridges

Bought this to glue coving up but due to having carpal tunnel I was unable to squeeze the trigger on the gun. Well this solved that problem, it was brilliant. Yanno you see those videos of people using a 'fantastic tool' but when you order it and try to use it you are unable to replicate it...well not with this. See the video, that's exactly how easy it is to use it and exactly how to use it. This is invaluable for people who struggle to squeeze a trigger on a gun (caulking gun not pistol). I am going to be no-nails sticking stuff with ease now. Brilliant!

Worked really well for injecting roof sealing mastic between sheets of roofing felt on a large shed. Roof too deep to climb onto and nail down the felt. The gun worked easily at arms length and effortlessly spread the sealant between the two layers of felt. Light and easy to use. Fitted my Makita combi drill really well. A very cost effective solution compared to bespoke cordless caulking guns.

Having received the gun and unpacked it, the first thing I did was to turn the drive shaft by hand to see what happened. I was disappointed to find that the shaft moved with difficulty and irregularly indicating to me that there was insufficient grease inside the gearbox. The gearbox is easy to dismantle, yes, I know this will invalidate any guarantee, and sure enough, although there was a little grease on the teeth of the three gears, there certainly wasn't enough and there was no grease on any of the bearing surfaces. I liberally coated one of the gears with grease as well as all the bearing surfaces, reassembled the gearbox and tried again. This time the drive shaft moved smoothly and easily. I ran the plunger in and out a few time so as to distribute the grease from the greased gear to all the others. First problem solved. The second issue is that the Bosch cordless screwdriver I use does not fit into the gun unless I use the larger 4Ah battery which makes the unit a lot heavier and more awkward to use. Typically I use the 2Ah battery with this driver. Once the issues were sorted out, the gun appear to work well although I think it would have difficulty with some of the roofing sealants I occasionally use unless the hole in the nozzle is large enough to reduce the force required to push the sealant out. The punger is just threaded plastic and trying to extrude a very stiff sealant may well strip the threads. However, for the purposes for which I bought the gun, it will suffice admirably. Shame about the grease...

The Tivoly t-gun supplied by Amazon does not have the steel reinforcement plate at front of machine. This means that the plastic frame can easily crack if too much pressure is applied e.g possible with viscous materials or if plunger hits end of tube. The drive gearing is plastic as well and it is highly geared so plunger moves too fast for precision work,even when pressing lightly on drill trigger. The model supplied is lightweight model probably F300 whereas the pictures look like they are mostly for the F450 heavier duty model. It is good for applying large quantities of softer sealants roughly e.g sealing between roof sheets or on coving. Could have been a decent gun if the plate was present and the gearing was lower. Contrary to at least one reviews the rod that pushes the plunger is actually blackened steel and not plastic.

Very good piece of kit, just make sure you follow the instructions and have it on the screw setting, and be careful winding it back in as you could snap the plastic frame if you over do it. Will be getting a back up second when on offer!

Works well, easy to use, does all the hard work for you.

Broke after first use similar to other reviews. It's made of very cheap plastic bits and cannot take the pressure needed for the job.

No las tenía todas conmigo en cuanto a si realmente funcionaría bien o si sería útil, pero ha resultado sorprendentemente buena compra. Para polímeros de alta densidad que cuestan mucho hacer que salgan en una pistola manual funciona muy bien. Cualquier taladro de batería con control de velocidad funciona cómodamente y la calidad del producto y sus elementos como el agarre del taladro o la rosca, son bastante buenos. La única pega es que cuando le acoplas el taladro se te queda una herramienta muy grande y aparatosa, pero es sólo la primera impresión y cuando estás trabajando con ella ni siquiera echas más cuenta de ello.

È eccezionale, 30 secondi per montarla su un avvitatore e si lavora benissimo, strisce di silicone uniformi, e se uno deve stenderne qualche borraccia sinceramente vale la pena, ci metti un attimo. Attenzione quando si vuole fermare l'erogazione, mettere subito l'avvitatore in modalità reverse e dare un colpo altrimenti il silicone continua ad uscire come nella pistola a mano. IMPORTANTE, mettere in modalità vite con regolazione della frizione a 3 o 4 Newton metro, altrimenti a fine corsa potreste spaccarlo continuando a spingere.

I loved this thing. It takes some practice to reverse the drill in time to avoid spill overs, but once I got it, I’ve done all my window caulking in no time.
