Warning. This soap packs a strong aroma due to the Juniper Tar oil in the soap. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it is less smelly than the Pine Tar soap. The Juniper Tar is extracted using a closed kiln as required by health regulations, making the oil essentially creosote free. A great alternative to Coal Tar Soap

Please be warned: Juniper Tar soap has a strong tar/medical like aroma. However, not as strong as Pine Tar. An amazing soap, but maybe not everyone's cup of tea.

I have very bad eczema on my hands and this soap is wonderful, not itching, a good feeling of cleanness and not made y hands dry. It's a bit messy to use it because it's black and gets dirty all the sink but it doesn't matter because it's easy to clean. Every skin is different and this soap maybe is not good for you but I think It deserves a try. Another thing, I don't care about its smell, I like it.
