Mattel Games Magic 8 Ball Kids Toy, Novelty Fortune Teller, Ask A Question & Turn Over for Answer

I recently saw one of these in a movie, and wondered if they were still in production. Yes! Takes me back to teenage PJ parties w/ girlfriends. ("Does Billy like me?" "Will I get into a good college?" "Will mom and dad ever stop fighting?") Now that I have (a new) one, friends keep calling for answers. Great fun!! Maybe the best ten bucks I've spent since the Big Pause.

What a life saver! Prior to this Magic 8 Ball, I was so indecisive. Before the Magic 8 Ball I would have stared at this Amazon Review field and I would contemplate, "Should I write and Amazon Review? Should I not write an Amazon Review?" and I would go back and forth and back and forth with no clarity on if I should even write a review. Now those days are long gone. Just this morning I asked my Magic 8 Ball if I should write a review about my new Magic 8 Ball and it said to me, "Ask again later." I have saved so much time! Instead of spending hours contemplating if I should write a review or not, I went about my day. When later arrived, I asked the Magic 8 Ball again if I should write a review and it replied with, "Signs point to yes". So here I am, writing a review. My next question for the Magic 8 Ball was if I should rate it 5 stars. The response was "Yes, definitely." I then asked if I should review any other features and the response was, ""My sources say no". So there you have it. The Magic 8 Ball has spoken.

Favorite Item I Have Played With Constantly !

I got this to help me from making sarcastic remarks to my students when they ask silly questions like "Can I go to the bathroom?" (even though they had just spent the entirety of passing time flirting with a girl that's in his group and the bell had JUST rung). It helps... sometimes. The kids think its funny that their bathroom habbits are being decided by a magic 8 ball (secretly I say yes or no based on what I had decided anyway). Its funny because the kids don't argue with the ball. XD

It was ok. A little smaller than I had hoped and not as well made as the old ones, but a cute replica. It was worth the money I spent on it for the nostalgia of it.

Got for 7 year old son. Fun size for smallish hands. What am I unhappy with... The words are super finicky and hard to read when the dice actually lays in the viewing screen properly.

I mean... it’s a magic 8 ball. What do you expect? You get what you order. Tough plastic, the viewing screen gets scratched easily though. Standard 20 sided die. Would not recommend for gambling or investment purposes.

I bought this to keep on my desk at the office. When the staff becomes baffled or dismayed over a situation, we reach for the 8 ball and ask for it's insights. It never seems to disappoint!

This was a gift for my 7yr old granddaughter, she had asked for it and was not disappointed. It worked as expected and was a lot of fun! The quality is good and delivery was fast. Very good purchase.

I have it at work. I always have someone to use it
